The Samsung VM55B-U is a 55-inch IPS panel designed to be tiled into a video wall. Each unit runs at 1,920 x 1,080 with a 0.63 x 0.63 mm pixel pitch. Its bezels measure 2.25 mm on the top and left and 1.25 mm on the right and bottom, so two neighbouring panels leave a joint of 3.5 mm, which keeps the grid looking like one picture rather than separate screens.

The panel is rated for 24/7 operation with typical brightness of up to 500 nit, a 1,200:1 contrast ratio and a 178/178 viewing angle. A non-glare surface spreads ambient light across the glass, which helps in rooms with bright overhead lighting or large windows where a glossy screen would reflect.
