What the Elo 6554L is and how it is configured
The Elo 6554L is a 65-inch, 16:9 interactive display from the IDS 54-Series. Its 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) panel runs at 60 Hz across an active area of 1428.48 mm x 803.5 mm, housed in a black enclosure. The model is supplied under three part numbers that differ in touch technology and surface finish: E104723 (PCAP, clear with anti-friction glass), E104912 (PCAP, anti-glare) and E105106 (infrared, anti-glare). Confirm the variant with your installer before ordering, because it changes both touch behaviour and mounting depth.
Touch, picture and connectivity facts that matter
PCAP versions register up to 40 simultaneous touches with palm rejection, which suits group work and multi-user kiosks. The infrared version handles 20 touches. Brightness is 500 nits for the LCD panel, 430 nits for PCAP and 450 nits for IR, with a 1100:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit colour and an 8 ms total response time. An ambient light sensor adjusts the panel colour to the room.
- Video inputs: two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort and USB-C, which also carries touch control.
- Audio: two 10 W stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone output.
- Control: integrated IoT with EloView and Crestron Connected V2 support, plus a dedicated RJ45 IoT LAN port.

What to plan before you order
The panel weighs 50 kg unpackaged and about 60 kg packaged, so the wall, stand or kiosk must be engineered for that load. It uses VESA 600 x 600 mm mounting with M8 fixings, and the wall mount kit (Elo P/N E727774) is listed for 55 to 65 inch IDS models. The standard warranty is three years with advance unit replacement included, and 4-year and 5-year extensions are listed. The box includes a mains cable with a UK plug, which follows the BS 1363 standard used by Qatar's sockets.
