An Android Touch Panel for Room Booking and Info Points

The iiyama TW1623AS-B3P combines a 15.6-inch touchscreen, an Android 16 computer and a network port in one slim unit measuring 387 x 244 x 30.5 mm and weighing 1.5 kg. Staff can install apps directly on the device, and it can run as a standalone kiosk or as a screen managed remotely through the iiSignage² content management platform. It is designed for spots where a visitor or employee needs to interact with information, such as beside a meeting room door, at a reception desk or in a hotel lobby.

Power and Data Through One Network Cable

The RJ45 port supports Power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3at with up to 30W, so a single Ethernet cable can carry both power and network data from a compatible switch. That removes the need for a socket at the mounting point and keeps cabling tidy in corridors and glass-walled meeting rooms. Where PoE is not available, the unit uses an external DC 12 V adapter, supplied with EU and UK plug options. Before ordering several units, confirm that your switch supports PoE to the 802.3at standard.

Touch, Display and Sound

The projected capacitive panel records 10 touch points when running the built-in Android 16 system, and it responds to fingers, latex gloves and capacitive styluses. The 1920 x 1080 IPS panel is rated at 450 cd/m² and 385 cd/m² with touch, and it has an anti-glare coating and an anti-fingerprint coating to help in bright rooms. The 1.8 mm glass is rated 6H, and the unit includes a microphone, two 2W speakers and a mini jack for announcements and simple audio use.
