Overview

The iiyama TW2424AS-B1 is a 23.8-inch Full HD touch panel PC that runs Android 12 on its own panel, so it can host room booking, POS or information apps without a separate computer. It combines an IPS display with 10-point InCell touch, 32GB storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and wired LAN. It suits meeting room doors, retail counters and reception desks across Doha. What the TW2424AS-B1 is built to do

The iiyama TW2424AS-B1 combines a 23.8-inch display and an Android 12 computer in one housing. A booking screen or customer kiosk therefore does not need a media player mounted beside it. The panel uses IPS technology at a 16:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. The black matte bezel is slim, and the glass carries an anti-glare coating with a 6H hardness rating.

Display and touch figures that matter on the wall

Brightness is rated at 250 cd/m² with touch, and static contrast at 1000:1 with touch. Viewing angles are 178° horizontally and vertically, so people approaching a meeting room door or a counter from the side can still read the screen. The 10-point InCell PCAP layer responds to fingers, latex gloves and capacitive styluses. The panel can be used in landscape, portrait or face-up orientation, with auto-rotation included. Anti image retention is also included, which matters when the same booking layout stays on screen for long periods.

Software, connectivity and where it fits in Qatar

Android 12 with Google Mobile Services is preinstalled, so your team can add applications directly to the panel. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.2, a wired RJ45 LAN port, one HDMI input, one USB-C output and three USB hub ports. The 32GB eMMC storage and 4GB LPDDR4 memory suit booking, signage and information applications.

Meeting room booking in an office in West Bay or Msheireb: a panel beside each room shows the day's schedule and lets staff see which slots are free, running 24/7.
Retail counter in a mall in Al Sadd or The Pearl: a touch screen at a shop counter explains products to customers, with the 10-point touch working through a gloved or stylus-equipped hand.
Visitor desk on a campus or industrial site: a reception screen in Education City or the Industrial Area shows directions and visitor information.

What to plan before ordering

The panel mounts on a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern. It measures 549.5 x 336 x 28 mm and weighs 4.23 kg without its box, so plan wall or stand fixings to match. Power comes from an external adapter with a DC 12 V output. Typical consumption is 19W, with 0.5W in standby and 0.3W in off mode. The regulatory list includes CE, EAC, RoHS, ErP, WEEE, REACH and UKCA. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so confirm the environment before fitting the panel near windows or in a warm lobby during Qatar summers. The SmartRooms Qatar team can help with that check.

Questions about TW2424AS-B1

What is the iiyama TW2424AS-B1 used for?

It is an all-in-one touch panel PC for information points, room booking displays and point-of-sale screens. Its Android 12 system runs applications directly on the 23.8-inch panel, so no separate media player is needed. In Qatar it suits office corridors, mall shopfronts and visitor desks where staff need a touch screen that runs 24/7 without an extra computer beside it.

Can it show meeting room bookings for an office in West Bay or Msheireb?

The panel is built for room booking displays. Android 12 lets you install a booking application directly on it, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac or the wired RJ45 LAN port connects it to the office network. Rated for 24/7 operation, it keeps the day's schedule visible outside working hours. Send your booking software requirements with your enquiry so we can confirm the setup in the quotation.

How bright is the screen, and will it work in a sunlit lobby?

The panel is rated at 250 cd/m² with touch and 1000:1 static contrast with touch, and the glass has an anti-glare coating. These figures suit indoor corridors and reception areas. The source data gives no operating temperature range or sunlight rating, so confirm the lobby conditions before placing it near windows in Doha, where summer temperatures can exceed 45°C.

Which touch inputs does the screen accept?

The screen has 10-point InCell PCAP touch that responds to fingers, latex gloves and capacitive styluses. Touch data connects over USB. The 10-point touch works when the integrated Android 12 system is used. If an external operating system is connected instead, only single touch is supported.

Can it be mounted in portrait for a narrow corridor or kiosk?

Yes. The panel supports landscape, portrait and face-up orientation, and auto-rotation is included. A narrow corridor in a Lusail office or a kiosk in a shopping mall can use portrait mode for directory or wayfinding content. Because the panel weighs 4.23 kg without its box, ask for a free site survey before fixing it to a wall or stand.

Which ports does the TW2424AS-B1 have?

It has one HDMI input (1920 x 1080 at 60Hz), one mini-jack audio input, one USB-C output (DC5V, 900mA), one mini-jack audio output, three USB hub ports, one RJ45 LAN port and one microphone input. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in. Two 5W speakers are included.

How is the panel powered, and how much power does it use?

It uses an external AC adapter with a DC 12 V output. Typical consumption is 19W, with 0.5W in standby and 0.3W in off mode. The box includes the AC adapter and a power cable. Ask SmartRooms Qatar to confirm the adapter's mains input against Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz supply and BS 1363 sockets as part of the quotation.

What wall mounting does it need?

The panel uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern. Its product dimensions are 549.5 x 336 x 28 mm, and it weighs 4.23 kg without the box or 6.15 kg with the box. A retail counter in Al Sadd or a reception wall in The Pearl needs fixings rated for that weight. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys to check wall construction before installation.

Can we install our own applications on it?

Yes. The panel runs Android 12 with Google Mobile Services, so you can add applications directly. Preinstalled applications listed in the source data include Chrome, Play Store, Gmail, a file manager and a calculator. Scheduled restart, power on and power off, and application locking can be managed on the device.

Is it suitable for a school or university in Qatar?

It suits a school or campus that needs a visitor sign-in screen, a library information point or an event schedule at a reception desk. Its 24/7 rating and Wi-Fi connectivity fit reception areas that stay open through the working week, Sunday to Thursday, and beyond. Confirm the applications you plan to run so the setup matches your school's requirements.

What comes in the box?

The box includes the power cable, the AC adapter, a quick start guide, a safety guide and a cable cover. The product's EAN code is 4948570122943. Mounting hardware is not listed in the source data, so confirm the fixings you need when you request a quote.

How do I request a quote, and how quickly will I receive it?

Send the quantity, the mounting location and the applications you plan to run. SmartRooms Qatar usually prepares a quotation within one working day. We accept purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Delivery timing is confirmed with the quotation, based on stock.
