QM43B-T

What the QM43B-T is and how it runs content

The Samsung QM43B-T is a 43-inch touch display with a 3840 x 2160 UHD panel, built for interactive use and digital signage in rooms that run for long hours. Its Tizen media player sits inside the display, so there is no separate PC or media box to mount, power or cable. The unit includes 16GB of flash storage and runs Tizen 6.5, and MagicINFO handles content scheduling across screens.

Specifications that matter when you choose it

The VA panel has a typical brightness of 500 without glass and 400 with glass, plus a contrast ratio of 4000:1 without glass. Colour coverage is 92% of DCI-P3, and viewing angles are 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. The non-glare glass, with 25% haze, reduces reflections from windows and lights, which helps in rooms with daylight. Touch is capacitive and the frame has a non-glossy finish.

• Operation: 24/7 operation support, 0 to 40 °C, 10 to 80% humidity, non-condensing.
• Power: AC 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, 110 W in on mode and 0.5 W in sleep mode, energy class B.
• Dust protection: IP5X rating for dusty environments.

Connections and control

Three HDMI inputs (version 2) and one DisplayPort 1.2 input cover laptops, media players and room control systems. Two USB ports, an RJ45 network port, RS232 input and output, and an IR input allow integration with a central controller. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in. Audio leaves through a stereo mini jack, and the display has no audio input, so plan your sound source before installation.

Where it fits in Qatar

In a corporate meeting room in West Bay, the Custom Home feature lets an IT team lock approved room settings so users cannot change them between meetings. In a clinic waiting area in Al Sadd or a bank branch in Msheireb, the display can loop scheduled content through MagicINFO without a separate computer. In a retail store or hotel lobby in Lusail, the 43-inch format suits counters, wayfinding panels and promotional screens.

What to plan before ordering

At 14.5 kg without packaging and 986.2 mm wide, the unit needs a wall or stand rated for its weight, and the VESA pattern is 200 x 200 mm. The source lists the WMN4070SG wall mount and STN-L4355G stand as options for this model. Keep the display in an air-conditioned indoor room, because its operating range tops out at 40 °C while Qatar summer temperatures often exceed 45 °C. A free site survey lets us check wall construction, cable routes and sightlines before installation.
