RE6504FV

What the RE6504FV does in a meeting room

The RE6504FV is a 65-inch interactive display that brings presenting, whiteboarding and video calling into one unit. It runs a built-in Android system with Google EDLA certification, so teams can open apps and corporate tools straight from the panel without connecting a laptop first. For hybrid sessions, the built-in 4K camera, 8-microphone array and speakers handle the call while the screen shows shared material.

The manufacturer states that the board works with UCaaS solutions, so it fits offices that already run a cloud calling platform. Wireless screen sharing lets participants bring their content onto the panel and annotate it from the same surface.

Display, touch and connections that matter

The 65-inch IPS panel runs at 3840 × 2160 resolution, with 450 nits typical brightness, a 1200:1 typical contrast ratio and 10-bit colour depth. Its 72% NTSC colour gamut and 8 ms response time suit presentations, while the anti-glare surface and flicker-free and low blue light features support longer sessions. The Precision IR touchscreen reports up to 40 touch points with a response time under 5 ms, and the glass is 9H tempered.

Connectivity covers the setups most rooms need:

• Video: three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI 2.0 output, one DisplayPort 1.2a and one VGA port
• USB: USB-C with 65 W power delivery, plus USB-A 3.0 and 2.0 ports and USB-B for touch
• Expansion: one OPS slot for a Windows slot-in PC, and a micro SD reader expandable up to 512GB
• Control and network: RS-232, Ethernet and optical S/PDIF output

Camera, microphones and audio for hybrid rooms

The 4K camera includes a physical privacy cover, so the lens can be closed when the room is not in use or a discussion is confidential. The 8-microphone array picks up speech at up to 8 m, which covers a full boardroom table. Two 20 W speakers provide room-filling sound for presentations and calls. A built-in NFC sensor supports one-tap login, and ambient light and IR sensors are included.

Managing several boards from one console

For an IT team deploying the board across a ministry, a campus or a company with several meeting rooms, the management tools matter as much as the screen. Boards can be onboarded by uploading a CSV file or scanning QR codes or barcodes, and device, security and app policies are deployed from one console. Directory syncing works with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and other LDAP or SAML identity providers, so only registered users can sign in. Unauthorised apps can be blocked remotely.

Where it fits in Qatar and what to plan for

Three realistic settings suit this model:

• A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out a 65-inch classroom where teachers want a touch board, camera and speakers in one unit.
• A government ministry meeting room in Msheireb hosting hybrid sessions with colleagues abroad, using directory-based sign-in.
• A company in Lusail running weekly planning sessions that need saved whiteboard work and Office files opened on the panel.

Plan the wall and power before installation. The board measures 1482.1 × 914.1 × 87.7 mm and weighs 36.4 kg, with a 42.5 kg shipping weight. It uses a VESA 600 × 400 mm pattern with four M8 screws, and one wall mount is included. Its operating range is 0°C to 40°C and the data gives no outdoor rating, so keep the room air-conditioned during Qatar's summer. The power supply is rated 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz with a typical draw of 66.7 W. The box includes two pens, a remote control and VGA, HDMI, USB-B and USB-C cables.
