Overview

The Clevertouch IMPACT Lux 2 65-inch is a 4K UHD interactive display for classrooms, training rooms and meeting rooms that need a large, responsive touch surface. It offers 50 touch points, a scan rate of at least 400Hz, an OPS slot, three HDMI inputs and Android 15 with EDLA certification. Its built-in audio and NFC profile log-in suit Qatar schools and corporate teams that share one room across several users.

What the IMPACT Lux 2 65-inch is

The Clevertouch IMPACT Lux 2 65-inch is a 4K UHD interactive display on a VA panel, designed for teaching spaces and meeting rooms where several people need to write, annotate and present on one surface. It is the smallest model in the IMPACT Lux 2 range, so it suits rooms of moderate size where a large screen is needed but a lecture-hall or boardroom panel would be excessive.

Touch, writing and palm rejection

The touch frame uses high precision infrared sensors around the glass edge to read fingers, passive pens and opaque objects from a 2 mm minimum size, with touch accuracy rated at ±1 mm. Palm rejection separates a resting hand from a deliberate stroke, so a teacher can write naturally while explaining a problem. The display supports 50 continuous touch points and a scan rate of at least 400Hz, which keeps input responsive when a group works on the glass together. Two Super Cool Stylus 2.0 pens with 3 mm and 7 mm tips are included, and the display can tell pen input from touch input.

Image, audio and computing

The panel offers 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz, 500 cd/m2 brightness, a 5500:1 contrast ratio and 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit. DC dimming keeps low brightness levels flicker-free, which helps in rooms that run long sessions with the lights lowered. Integrated audio uses two 20W front-facing speakers and two 10W subwoofers, so a separate soundbar may not be needed. The RK3588 main board, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage run Android 15 with the Lux 2 UI.

Ports: OPS slot (Intel spec 80-pin), three HDMI In, one HDMI Out, one DisplayPort In, RS-232 and LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
Wireless: WiFi 6E (802.11ax, 2 x 2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.2 and integrated NFC.
Security and management: EDLA certified, with remote management (MDM) under a one-year licence.
Power: 89.08W normal consumption at this size, 0.3W or less on standby, 100-240V at 50/60Hz.

Where the 65-inch fits in Qatar

A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out new primary classrooms could standardise on this model, using the NFC teacher profiles and multi-touch activities for group work. A consultancy meeting room in West Bay or Msheireb, where a team joins video calls with colleagues abroad, can use the three HDMI inputs and the front USB-C port to share laptop screens. The top USB-C port supports a top-mounted camera, which is an optional extra. A training centre near the Hamad International Airport area running short courses for staff could use the display for both presenting and hands-on exercises.

What to plan before installation

Match the wall bracket to the 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern. The panel measures 1488 x 916 x 86 mm and weighs 37.90 kg net, or 44.5 kg packed.
Choose an air-conditioned room. The operating range is 0 to 40 °C at 10 to 90% relative humidity.
Confirm a socket near the mounting point on site. A 3 m HDMI cable is included in the box.

SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before wall-mounting, which checks wall structure, sightlines and cable routes. To request a quote for the IMPACT Lux 2 65-inch, send your room dimensions, the quantity and whether you need an LPO, and the SmartRooms Qatar team will respond with a quotation.

Questions about IMPACT Lux 2 65"

Who is the IMPACT Lux 2 65-inch best suited for?

It suits classrooms, seminar rooms and meeting rooms of moderate size, where a 65-inch screen can be read from the back of the room. A private school in Al Wakrah refitting primary classrooms, or a company in West Bay equipping a small team meeting room, would both fit this model. The 75-inch and 86-inch versions suit larger rooms and lecture halls.

How many people can write on the screen at the same time?

The display supports 50 continuous touch points on both Android and Windows, so several students or colleagues can annotate at once. Palm rejection ignores a hand resting on the glass while writing. Two Super Cool Stylus 2.0 pens with 3 mm and 7 mm tips are included in the box, and touch accuracy is rated at ±1 mm with a 2 mm minimum object size.

Which computers and operating systems does it work with?

The display is rated compatible with Windows 10, Linux, Mac, Android and Chrome. Edge-swipe gestures are supported on Windows, while macOS needs an additional driver. The panel runs Android 15 with the Lux 2 UI, so basic lessons can run without a connected computer. Confirm your laptop model and meeting software with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

Can it show a laptop screen during video calls with teams abroad?

Yes. It has three HDMI In ports, one DisplayPort In, and a front USB-C port that carries video, audio, touch and network with 100W charging. Clevershare mirroring, which shows any connected device on the board, is free for the life of the screen. For a Doha office running calls with teams abroad, plan the camera position early, since the top USB-C port supports a top-mounted camera as an optional extra.

How much wall space and support does the 65-inch model need?

The panel measures 1488 x 916 x 86 mm and weighs 37.90 kg net, or 44.5 kg packed. It uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA mounting pattern, so the wall bracket must match it. In older Doha buildings, check the wall structure before drilling. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before wall-mounting to confirm the fixing point and cable route.

Can it be placed near a window or in a lobby during Qatar summers?

The rated operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C at 10 to 90% relative humidity, and storage is rated from -20 to 60 °C. Qatar summer temperatures can exceed 45 °C, so keep the display in an air-conditioned room, away from direct sunlight and window glare. The fanless design means there is no cooling fan to clog with dust. Confirm the installation environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team first.

What is its power draw and does it suit Qatar's mains supply?

The 65-inch model draws 89.08W in normal use and no more than 0.3W on standby. Its power input is rated 100-240V at 50/60Hz with 3.5A, a range that covers Qatar's 240V, 50Hz mains. The data does not specify the plug type, so check the socket near the mounting point on site before installation.

What does EDLA certification mean for a government or bank office?

EDLA stands for Enterprise Device License Agreement, a Google programme for managed Android devices. This display is EDLA certified and supports password protection, two-step authentication and data encryption. It can also be remotely wiped or locked if lost or stolen. Remote management (MDM) comes with a one-year licence. Ministries and banks in Doha with formal IT security policies can apply these controls.

How does NFC log-in work and why would a school use it?

Integrated NFC lets a teacher tap an NFC card, included in the box, to open their personalised profile on any Clevertouch display. Files and settings follow the teacher between rooms without resetting each board. This suits schools in Education City or Al Rayyan where teachers move between classrooms. The display also connects to OneDrive, Google Drive and LYNX Cloud accounts.

Do I need external speakers for a classroom of this size?

In a classroom or meeting room of this size, the built-in audio may remove the need for a separate soundbar. The display has two 20W front-facing speakers and two 10W subwoofers, with a 95W amplifier. Its eight-array microphone picks up voices across a 180-degree angle up to 8 metres. For a large room or one with hard surfaces, review the acoustics with the SmartRooms Qatar team before buying.

What warranty applies and how do I request a quote?

The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty as standard, with an optional 7-year warranty. SmartRooms Qatar supplies the display and delivers to all eight municipalities of Qatar, with professional installation available. Quotations usually arrive within one working day. Government buyers can issue an LPO or work through Monaqasat, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Request a quote with your room size and quantity.
