What the 86WM6FE-A brings to a room

The 86WM6FE-A is an 86-inch interactive display in the GoBoard Live Pro series. It is designed to replace a separate projector, whiteboard, webcam and conference speaker with one panel, so a room needs less cabling and fewer devices on the table. The unit runs Android 13 with Google Play access, which lets presenters open apps and files directly on the screen.

Display, touch and camera facts that matter

The panel resolves 3840 x 2160 pixels with 400 nits typical brightness and a 1200:1 typical contrast ratio. Its 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles keep text readable for people seated at the sides of a long table. The 60Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour support 1.07 billion colours.

Touch is handled by an infrared frame with anti-glare glass. The source lists up to 55 touch points on Android and OPS, and up to 40 on Mac, with writing height under 1.5mm and a minimum touch object of 2mm. The integrated 4K camera has a physical cover and a working light, so it can be closed when not in use. The eye-comfort feature is stated as TÜV Rheinland certified for reduced blue light.

Where it fits in Qatar

Three situations suit this panel well:

A boardroom in West Bay or Lusail, where a leadership team reviews figures with colleagues in Doha and abroad. The camera, speakers and Android apps let the session run from the panel without a laptop on every seat.
A large classroom in Al Wakrah or Al Rayyan at a private school. Two pens are included, and Arabic is among the supported menu languages, which helps bilingual lessons.
A training room in Education City used by a university unit for workshops. Three HDMI inputs and a USB-C port with 65W power delivery make swapping presenter laptops quick.

What to plan before installation

The unit measures 1954.7 x 1197.6 x 125.9mm and weighs 59.0kg net or 76.5kg packed, so plan for several people to handle it. The VESA pattern is 1000 x 600mm with four M8 screws, and one wall mount bracket is included. Check the wall structure and the lift route before delivery day.

Power is rated AC 100V to 240V at 50/60Hz, with a typical draw of 321.3W, a maximum of 430W and standby below 0.5W. The power cable is country dependent, so confirm the plug suits BS 1363 sockets before ordering. Operating temperature is 0 to 40°C with 20 to 80% humidity. Qatar summers can push outdoor temperatures above 45°C, so the room needs dependable air conditioning and the panel should be kept out of direct sunlight and window glare.

Questions about 86WM6FE-A

What is the Hisense 86WM6FE-A and who is it for?

The 86WM6FE-A is an 86-inch interactive display from the GoBoard Live Pro series, combining a 4K panel, infrared touch, a whiteboard function, an integrated camera and speakers in one unit. It suits boardrooms, large classrooms and training rooms that need a single screen for presenting, writing and video. It runs Android 13 with Google Play access and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, so apps and files can open on the panel without a separate computer.

Is an 86-inch panel right for a boardroom in Lusail?

It suits rooms where people sit well back from the screen or where a whole team needs to read the same content. The panel resolves 3840 x 2160 pixels with 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, so text stays readable from the sides of a long table. Before ordering, measure the seating distance and wall width. A SmartRooms Qatar site survey can confirm the mounting height and whether the room suits this size.

Can it be installed in a site office in Al Khor that is not fully air-conditioned?

No. The operating range is 0 to 40°C with 20 to 80% humidity, so the room must stay within that range throughout the day. Qatar summers can push outdoor temperatures above 45°C, so a site office needs dependable air conditioning, and the panel should be kept away from direct sunlight and window glare. Confirm the final environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

Does the menu support Arabic as well as English?

English is the default language, and the supported language list includes Arabic alongside many others such as French, Spanish, German and Turkish. For ministries, hospitals and schools that work in Arabic and English together, this matters for on-screen menus. Ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the language setup on the unit that will be delivered to your site.

How does the integrated camera help a meeting that connects Doha to teams abroad?

The 4K camera has a physical cover and a working light, so the lens can be closed when it is not needed. Together with the microphone array and the 2x18W+25W speakers, it reduces the number of separate devices needed when a Doha team joins colleagues in Riyadh, Dubai or Europe. Whether the camera works with your chosen video platform should be checked with your IT team before the purchase order is raised.

What ports does the 86WM6FE-A provide?

It has three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI output, one USB-C port with up to 65W power delivery, three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a 1000baseT LAN port, an optional OPS slot, touch input, audio input and output, S/PDIF coaxial output and RS-232 in and out on RJ45. This covers laptops, room control and a second display in one room.

Do I need a separate computer to run it?

No. The unit runs Android 13 with an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, so everyday presentation and apps run without an external PC. If your team needs a computer module, the OPS slot accepts an optional OPS unit powered at DC 18V/5A from the panel. Confirm the module and its compatibility with SmartRooms Qatar before ordering.

What do I need for wall mounting?

The VESA pattern is 1000 x 600mm with four M8 screws, and one wall mount bracket is included. The panel weighs 59.0kg net and 76.5kg packed, so the wall structure and the delivery route must be checked before installation. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to confirm the wall, the height and the lift route, and professional installation is available for the mounting work.

Will it work on Qatar's power supply?

The power requirement is AC 100V to 240V at 50/60Hz, which covers the 240V, 50Hz supply used in Qatar. The power cable is country dependent, so the plug supplied must match BS 1363 (Type G) sockets. Ask SmartRooms Qatar to confirm the cable for your order and to check the socket and any surge protection in the room before installation day.

How much electricity does it use in a university unit running all day?

Maximum consumption is 430W, typical consumption is 321.3W, and standby is below 0.5W. For a training room running eight hours a day, multiply the typical draw by the hours used to estimate daily energy. The panel is certified to Energy Star 8.0, which is a relevant point for universities and government buildings tracking energy use.

How should a school or ministry order several units?

Schools, ministries and government bodies can order with a purchase order (LPO) or through a Monaqasat tender, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Quotations are usually issued within one working day. For a school fitting out several large classrooms in Al Rayyan, send the number of rooms, their sizes and wall types so SmartRooms Qatar can quote the units and mounting together.

Which accessories come with it and what is optional?

The basic package includes two pens, one remote control, one user manual, two batteries, one wall mount bracket and a power cable that depends on country. Optional items are a mobile cart, a wireless casting dongle and an OPS module. A mobile cart is worth asking about if one panel moves between classrooms or training rooms, while a wall-mounted unit suits fixed boardrooms.
