86WM6FE

An 86-inch all-in-one room display

The Hisense 86WM6FE is an 86-inch interactive display from the GoBoard Live Pro series. A single unit gives a room a large 4K touch surface, a writing-capable whiteboard, a camera for video calls, built-in speakers and an Android system, so a meeting or lesson does not need a separate projector, webcam, soundbar and laptop docking station on the table.

Built on Android 13 with an octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the unit gives access to Google Play Store apps and accounts. It suits teams that want one device for presenting, annotating and joining calls.

Panel, touch and camera details that matter

• Panel: 3840 x 2160 resolution, 400 nits typical brightness, 1200:1 typical contrast ratio, 8 ms typical response time, 60Hz refresh rate and 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically.
• Colour: 10-bit display colours (1.07 billion) and a 72% NTSC colour gamut.
• Touch: infrared touch frame with up to 55 points on Android, a 2 mm minimum touch object and a writing height below 1.5 mm.
• Camera: integrated 4K camera with a physical cover and a light that shows when it is working.

The brightness and contrast figures are typical values from the manufacturer. Anti-glare glass helps in bright rooms, but screen placement matters just as much, so check the lighting before fixing the unit to a wall.

Audio, connections and power in practice

Two 18 W speakers and a 25 W unit provide 61 W of built-in audio power, with Dolby Atmos listed among its features. This is useful in a room larger than a standard meeting room, where the presenter moves around and people sit at a distance.

The connections include three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI output, a USB-C port with 65 W Power Delivery, three USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, a 1000 Mbps LAN port, audio input and output, an S/PDIF coaxial output and RS-232 control on RJ45. Wi-Fi covers 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.

The power supply is rated for AC 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. Typical consumption is 321.3 W, maximum consumption is 430 W and standby consumption is below 0.5 W. The basic kit includes a power cable that depends on the country, so confirm the plug type with the quotation.

Planning the room, mounting and environment

The unit measures 1954.7 x 1197.6 x 125.9 mm and weighs 59.0 kg net, or 76.5 kg packed. It supports VESA 1000 x 600 mm mounting with four M8 screws, and one wall mount bracket is included. At this weight, a free site survey to check wall structure, mounting height and cable routing is worth booking before installation.

The operating range is 0 to 40°C with 20 to 80% humidity. Summer temperatures in Qatar often exceed 45°C, so this model belongs in an air-conditioned room, away from outdoor areas, unshaded glass walls and spaces where heat builds up. An optional mobile cart is listed for shared rooms.

Where it fits in Qatar

• A boardroom in West Bay or Lusail where leaders review documents and join video calls with offices abroad.
• A lecture room or training centre in Education City that needs a 4K panel for annotated teaching and presentations.
• A private school in Al Wakrah or Al Rayyan fitting out classrooms where Arabic and English are used side by side.

Send the room size, quantity and mounting location to the SmartRooms Qatar team. We will reply with a quotation, usually within one working day, covering supply, delivery to any of Qatar's eight municipalities and professional installation. Request a quote today.
