The iiyama ProLite TE6515A-B2AG is a 65-inch 4K UHD interactive flat panel for classrooms, boardrooms and collaboration spaces. It offers 40-point touch with palm rejection, Android 14 with Google EDLA certification, built-in Wi-Fi 6E and an OPS slot for an optional computer. It suits schools and offices in Qatar that need writing, sharing and video on one screen. Request a quote for quantities, mounting and delivery across Qatar.
What the TE6515A-B2AG is and who it suits
The iiyama TE6515A-B2AG is a 65-inch interactive flat panel with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 on a VA panel. It is built for teaching rooms, boardrooms and project spaces where people write, annotate and share content from several sources in one session. The 64.5-inch diagonal gives a viewable area of 1428.5 x 803.5 mm, which works well in a mid-sized classroom or meeting room where everyone needs to read the screen.
The 16.7 mm side bezels and black matte frame keep the panel visually light on a wall. The front has no buttons apart from a single power key, so controls stay out of the way during a lesson or meeting.
Touch, writing and picture quality
Touch runs on DeepContrast-IR++ technology with 40 touch points. Writing supports 32 points where the operating system allows it, including Android. The touch layer scans at 200Hz with a 5ms response time and ±1mm accuracy. Palm rejection is included, so a presenter can rest a hand on the glass while writing. Pens, fingers and gloved hands all register, and four dual-function touch pens are supplied.
The optically bonded glass is 3.2 mm thick with 7H hardness. Its anti-glare surface and anti-bacterial coating suit rooms with daylight and heavy daily use. The panel delivers 550 cd/m² brightness, a 5000:1 static contrast ratio and a 178 degree viewing angle, with 1.07 billion colours from 8-bit plus Hi-FRC.
Connections, OPS slot and built-in software
Video inputs include two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.2 and a USB-C port that carries video, touch data and up to 100W Power Delivery for a laptop. There are also HDMI and USB-C outputs. Two RJ45 LAN ports switch automatically between PC and Android use. An Intel OPS slot accepts an optional OPS PC, and the manufacturer lists the OPC51204BC-1 among compatible accessories.
The panel runs iiWare 21E on Android 14 with Google EDLA certification. Included tools cover device management with iiControl, wireless presentation with iiShare, a whiteboard, iiBrowser, cloud drives and a file manager. EShare provides wireless screen sharing from Windows, iOS and Android devices. Built-in Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0 support wireless use, and the manufacturer states integration with Google services and Microsoft 365. Kiosk mode and picture-in-picture are also available.
Where it fits in Qatar
A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out a Year 5 classroom could use the panel for bilingual lessons, writing Arabic and English notes on the same screen while pupils work with the pens. Because the software runs on Android, teachers can open Google apps directly without a separate computer on every desk.
A government office in Msheireb preparing for meetings with colleagues abroad could connect a laptop through EShare or HDMI and use the 8-array microphone, which has an 8m voice pickup range, to join calls in a large room. A training centre in Education City could present detailed software walkthroughs in 4K to rows of students seated at a distance.
What to plan before you order
- Wall fixing: the mounting pattern is 600 x 400 mm, matching the bracket included. The panel weighs 43.5 kg without its box and 47.4 kg with it, so a free site survey is worth booking before mounting.
- Room conditions: the operating range is 0°C to 40°C. Keep the panel in an air-conditioned room, because Qatar summer temperatures can exceed 45°C. Confirm the climate control with the SmartRooms Qatar team for any lobby or window-facing position.
- Power: the internal power supply accepts 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz and draws about 170 W typically. The supplied power cables are EU and UK types, so confirm the plug arrangement for BS 1363 sockets when you request a quote.
- Running hours: components are rated for 24/7 operation, but the manufacturer recommends no more than 18 hours per day for longevity.
The TE6515A-B2AG comes with the manufacturer's 5-year warranty. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar and we will confirm lead time with your quotation, prepare documents for purchase orders (LPOs) or government tenders, and advise on installation.
