What the InFocus INF7550 is and where it fits

The InFocus INF7550 is a 75-inch 4K interactive flat panel from the JTouch 50 Series. It gives a room a large touch surface for annotating lessons and presentations, opening files from cloud drives, and sharing screens from laptops or phones without a separate whiteboard system. With a viewable area of 1650 x 928 mm, it suits mid-sized rooms where a 65-inch screen feels cramped and an 86-inch panel would dominate the space.

Display and touch performance that matter in daily use

The 3840 x 2160 panel is backed by D-LED lighting, with 450 cd/m2 maximum brightness, a 1,200:1 contrast ratio and a 5,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Its antiglare glass is 3.2 mm thick and rated 7 on the Mohs scale. The second-generation zero bonding construction reduces reflection between the glass and the LCD, which helps writing feel direct. The infrared touch system supports up to 40 touch points with ±1 mm accuracy, and the rated lifetime is 50,000 hours.

Connectivity, software and optional computing

The ports cover both legacy and modern needs:

The panel runs Android 9 on a MediaTek MT9950 processor with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 at 1.8 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Pre-installed tools include a whiteboard, browser, annotation, LightCast3 casting, LightStore and LightManager for IT administration. The software can be upgraded to Android 11 by downloading the update from the manufacturer's support tab. Touch is listed as supported on Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Chrome.

Planning the installation

The panel measures 1709 x 86 x 1019 mm and weighs 49.5 kg, so it needs at least two people to lift and a wall that can carry the load. It uses a VESA 800 x 400 mm mounting pattern. The shipping weight is 63.4 kg, so check door widths and lift access before delivery day. The operating range is 0 to 40°C with 10 to 90% humidity. Qatar summer temperatures outside can exceed 45°C, so mount the panel in an air-conditioned room, away from direct sunlight and glare from large windows. The power input is 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, with a maximum draw of 550 W and standby below 0.5 W.
