LG 65TR3BQ · Price in Qatar

Overview

The LG 65TR3BQ is a 65-inch 4K UHD interactive digital board built for meetings, lessons and presentations. It supports up to 40 simultaneous touch points, has 3.2mm tempered anti-reflective glass on its front, and offers a built-in OPS slot for a PC module sold separately. A single USB-C cable handles charging and data, and software updates arrive over the air. It suits meeting rooms and classrooms in Doha, Lusail and Education City.

What the LG 65TR3BQ is and how it performs

The LG 65TR3BQ is a 65-inch interactive digital board from the CreateBoard TR3BQ series, built for teams that write, annotate and share content on one large surface. The 3840x2160 UHD VA panel renders fine detail in spreadsheets, floor plans and lesson slides. Typical brightness is 350nit and the contrast ratio is 5000:1, which works best in rooms with controlled daylight. The front uses 3.2mm tempered, anti-reflective safety glass, and the 10-bit colour depth is produced by 8-bit plus FRC processing.

Touch, connectivity and the built-in OPS slot

Touch detection covers up to 40 points at once, so several people can write, gesture or move objects together. The touch layer recognises objects from 3mm in diameter, and the stated writing height is 2mm or less. A single USB-C cable can charge a connected laptop and carry its data. Inputs include three HDMI ports, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port and one USB-C port, along with Gigabit LAN, RS232C, audio input and optical S/PDIF output. A built-in OPS slot takes a compatible OPS PC module, sold separately, so Windows applications can run on the board without an external computer.

Where it fits in Qatar

Classrooms at a private school in Al Wakrah: a 65-inch surface for mixed Arabic and English lessons. The on-screen menu offers an Arabic (Egypt) language option.
Project reviews at an industrial site in Mesaieed: engineers mark up drawings on the touch surface while colleagues join from abroad over the network connection.
Government meeting rooms in Doha: several officials annotate one document together, while Wake on LAN and HDMI-CEC let facilities staff switch the board on and control it from a central point.

Qatar summers push outdoor temperatures above 45°C, so this board belongs inside an air-conditioned room. Its rated operating range is 0°C to 40°C with 10 to 90 percent humidity.

Questions about 65TR3BQ

What is the LG 65TR3BQ best suited for?

The LG 65TR3BQ suits meeting rooms, boardrooms and classrooms where one large 65-inch surface is the main tool for presenting, annotating and collaborating. Its 40-point touch detection lets several people work on the screen at once. It is a good fit for mid-sized teams in Doha, Lusail or Education City who need a display that is both a screen and a whiteboard.

Does the on-screen menu support Arabic?

The on-screen display language list includes Arabic (Egypt), so Arabic menu text is available for users who work in Arabic and English side by side. Other languages on the list include English, French and Turkish. If your staff need a specific Arabic dialect or a particular menu setup, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm before you request a quote.

How many people can write on the board at the same time?

The touch layer detects up to 40 touch points at once, which supports simultaneous touch and gesture input from several users. The panel recognises objects from 3mm in diameter, and the stated writing height is 2mm or less. This matters in group sessions, brainstorming workshops and classroom activities where students take turns at the board.

What is the OPS slot and is the OPS module included?

The board has a built-in OPS slot at the back of the screen, which accepts a compatible OPS PC module. This lets you run Windows software directly on the board without connecting an external desktop. The OPS module is sold separately, so it must be added to your quote if you want the board to run its own computer.

Which operating systems work with the touch function?

The touch specification lists support for Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Android, Linux, macOS and Chrome. The board also works with devices across these systems through its HDMI, USB-C and network inputs. For an IT team standardising on a particular platform, confirm the driver and setup details with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

Can the board be placed in a hot lobby or near a window in Qatar?

The rated operating temperature is 0°C to 40°C, with humidity between 10 and 90 percent. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly exceed 45°C outside, so the board should sit in an air-conditioned room and away from direct sunlight. Dust-prone areas such as lobbies near open doors should be assessed during the site survey.

Will the board work with Qatar's electrical supply?

The power supply is rated for 100-240V at 50/60Hz, and Qatar's mains supply of 240V at 50Hz falls within that range. Typical power draw is 127W, with a maximum of 360W and 0.5W in standby. Each unit should be connected through a properly earthed outlet, and the team can advise on the setup as part of your quote.

How do I mount it on a wall, and what stands are available?

The VESA mount pattern is 600 x 400mm. The optional WM-L000S wall mount and the ST-000F and ST860F floor stands are sold as accessories. The head weighs 32.1 kg, so the wall or floor must be assessed first. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before wall mounting, and the quote can include the mount you choose.

What are the overall dimensions and bezel sizes?

The monitor measures 1491 x 899 x 98mm. The bezel is 16.6mm on the top, right and left sides, and 45mm at the bottom. Planning the clearance around the unit, and checking that the room doors and corridors can take a 1628 x 1014 x 185mm carton during delivery, helps avoid problems on installation day.

How can the board be controlled and updated remotely?

The board supports RS232C control with LG commands, wired LAN, Wake on LAN and HDMI-CEC. Over-the-air functionality allows software updates to be performed wirelessly and automatically. Screen sharing is provided through CreateBoard Share. These options suit IT and facilities teams who manage several boards from one location.

How much energy does it use in a school or office?

Typical consumption is 127W, rising to a maximum of 360W, and standby draws 0.5W. The board includes a smart energy saving function rated at 70 percent. For schools running classrooms on a daily timetable, these figures help estimate running costs. The board is rated for 16 hours a day, seven days a week.

Can my organisation order this board through an LPO or tender?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), government tenders including Monaqasat, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and delivery covers all eight municipalities of Qatar. Include the number of units and any optional stands or OPS modules in your request.
