Overview

The MAXHUB U7540 is a 75-inch 4K interactive flat panel built for classrooms, training rooms and mid-sized meeting spaces. It offers 50-point infrared touch, Think&Ink annotation, an Android 15 system, a 50MP camera with speaker tracking, and an 8-microphone array that picks up voices up to 12 metres away. Its OPS slot and Wi-Fi module slot let IT teams tailor it. Suits university training rooms and boardrooms in Doha.

What the U7540 Adds to a 75-Inch Room

The MAXHUB U7540 belongs to the U4 Series of education-focused interactive flat panels. It has a 75-inch 16:9 display running at 3840×2160. At this size it fills a mid-sized classroom or training room without overwhelming the space. It sits between the 65-inch U6540 and the 86-inch U8640, so it suits rooms that are larger than a standard classroom but do not need a lecture-hall panel.

Display, Touch and Writing

The panel is rated at 500 nits maximum brightness, with 5,000:1 typical contrast and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast. Typical colour gamut is 98% sRGB, with 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit depth and a colour accuracy of ΔE≤1. Its non-glare etched surface, rated at 25% haze, reduces reflections from ceiling lights and windows. Infrared touch supports 50 points with ±0.5mm accuracy. Think&Ink tells the pen tip, pen tail, finger and palm apart, rejects palms, and allows erasing while writing. The glass carries a 9H hardness rating for scratch resistance.

Camera, Microphones and Sound

The 50MP camera has a 115° diagonal field of view and offers auto framing, speaker tracking, person counting, random selection and a manual mode. The 8-microphone array covers a 180° pickup angle out to 12 metres, with echo cancellation, noise cancellation and automatic gain control. An intelligent audio fence and AI spatial sound support clearer capture. The SkyWave Sound System uses a 2.2 channel layout, with speaker output of 2×8W+2×18W and a maximum of 2×12W+2×25W, and an 88 dB sound pressure level at 1W and 1m.

Processing, Connectivity and Expansion

Android 15 runs on an octa-core processor at 2.4GHz, with a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU, a 6 TOPS NPU, 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Google EDLA certification applies to the built-in system. Inputs include four HDMI, one DisplayPort, two USB-C, four USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, one RJ45, one RS232 and two touch connections. Outputs include HDMI, USB-C, SPDIF, audio and RJ45. One OPS slot and one Wi-Fi module slot allow expansion. The listed SI07B Wi-Fi module supports 802.11ac/b/g/n/a/ax on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, with Bluetooth 5.2.

Where It Fits in Qatar

Training rooms in Education City: hybrid sessions where the camera follows the lecturer and the microphone array picks up voices across the room.
Private and Arabic-curriculum schools in Al Wakrah or Al Rayyan: one large screen for switching between Arabic and English material during a lesson.
Boardrooms in West Bay or Lusail: meetings that connect Doha with teams abroad, using HDMI and USB-C inputs for laptops and room systems.

What to Plan Before You Order

Wall mounting a 75-inch panel needs a solid wall and planned cable routing, so SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before installation. Plan a power point for the listed AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz supply. Typical consumption is 80W, and standby is 0.5W or less. If the room has large windows, position the panel away from direct sunlight. The product carries IP5X dust protection, but confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before placing it in an open or dusty area. Where wall mounting is not practical, the optional mobile stands ST33M, ST23B and EST09 are listed for this model. Request a quote for the U7540 with the modules and stand you need. Questions about U7540

Who is the U7540 designed for compared with the 65-inch and 86-inch models?

The U7540 suits mid-sized classrooms, training rooms and meeting rooms where a 65-inch panel feels small and an 86-inch panel is more than the room needs. Its 75-inch 16:9 screen at 3840×2160 gives students or participants a clear view from the back of the room. The U6540 and U8640 share the same touch, camera, audio and system specification, so size is the main difference to weigh.

How bright is the panel, and does it work in a sunlit room?

The panel is rated at 500 nits maximum brightness, with 5,000:1 typical contrast and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast. Its non-glare etched surface, rated at 25% haze, reduces reflections from ceiling lights. In rooms with large windows in Doha, position the screen away from direct sunlight, and test sightlines during the free site survey.

How many touch points does it support, and can it reject a resting palm?

Infrared touch supports 50 touch points with ±0.5mm accuracy. The Think&Ink software provides palm rejection, sharp erase and simultaneous erase and write, and it distinguishes pen tip, pen tail, finger and palm. A teacher can annotate a lesson while students work at the board, and the Single Pen Dual Color feature allows two colours from one pen.

Does the camera follow the presenter during hybrid sessions?

Yes. The 50MP camera, with a 115° diagonal field of view, offers speaker tracking, auto framing, person counting and a manual mode. In a training room at Education City running sessions for on-site and remote learners, the camera can keep the lecturer in frame while remote participants see the whole room.

What pickup range do the microphones offer for a meeting room?

The 8-mic array has a 180° pickup angle and a 0–12 metre pickup range. It includes echo cancellation, noise cancellation and automatic gain control. In a boardroom in West Bay where participants sit around a long table, the array can capture speakers at both ends without extra microphones, although the room layout should still be checked during the site survey.

Which inputs and outputs connect laptops and room systems?

The unit provides four HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input, two USB-C ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one RJ45 input, one RS232 port and one TF card port. Outputs include one HDMI, one USB-C, one SPDIF, one audio output and one RJ45. List the devices you need to connect in your quotation request so the cabling plan can be confirmed.

Can I add an OPS module or a Wi-Fi module?

Yes. The unit has one OPS slot and one Wi-Fi module slot. The listed OPS modules are OPS62A and OPS72A, and the SI07B Wi-Fi module supports 802.11ac/b/g/n/a/ax on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Note whether an OPS module is needed when requesting a quote, and the SmartRooms Qatar team will confirm the suitable options for your setup.

Does it run on Qatar's 240 V mains supply?

The listed power supply is AC 100–240V at 50/60Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V mains. Typical consumption is 80W, and standby consumption is 0.5W or less. The product carries Energy Star certification. An electrician should confirm the outlet and circuit during installation planning.

Is the screen suitable for dusty areas or lobbies with glass frontages?

The U4 Series is described with IP5X dustproof protection, which helps in dusty conditions. The manufacturer's data does not give an operating temperature range for this model. For a lobby with a glass frontage or a semi-open area, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering so the placement suits the conditions.

How should a 75-inch panel be mounted?

Wall mounting a 75-inch panel requires a solid wall or structure and planned cable routing. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys to check the wall and access routes before installation. If wall mounting is not practical, the optional mobile stands ST33M, ST23B and EST09 are listed for this model, and you can confirm the stand you need in the quotation.

What warranty applies, and can a school order several units on an LPO?

The manufacturer's data gives a 3-year warranty, and the product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Schools and government bodies can order several units against a purchase order (LPO) or a government tender, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order is accepted. Send the quantity and room list with your request, and the team usually responds within one working day.
