Overview

The Newline Elara Elite is a 4K interactive display on Android 16 with Google EDLA certification, giving direct access to Google Drive and the Play Store. One front USB Type-C port delivers 100 W power and carries video, touch and network. An 8-microphone array picks up voices up to 10 metres away, suiting boardrooms and hybrid classrooms in Doha. Sizes run from 55 to 98 inches. Request a quote.

What the Elara Elite does in a meeting room

The Newline Elara Elite brings a 4K touch display, an Android 16 computer and a conferencing audio and capture kit into one unit. Instead of wiring a separate PC, camera and speaker set to a screen, the room is run from the display itself. The panel offers 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 5000:1 contrast ratio and 550 cd/m² brightness, with a 178° viewing angle, so content stays readable from the back of a large room.

Specifications that matter for purchasing

Processing: Rockchip RK3588 octa-core processor with 16 GB RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage.
Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, Gigabit RJ45 input and output, and an NFC reader and writer for tap-to-login.
Expansion: an OPS slot, an SDM-S slot, RS232 control, HDMI 2.1 input and output, and DisplayPort 1.2.
Touch: infrared touch with 50 touch points, two passive pens, palm rejection and 7H pencil-hardness glass that is anti-glare, anti-fingerprint and antimicrobial.
Panel life: display life rated at 50,000 hours or more.

Sound, microphones and camera

The built-in audio uses two 25 W front speakers and a 25 W rear subwoofer to cover the full room. A top-mounted eight-microphone array picks up voices up to 10 metres away, with noise reduction and echo cancellation. The system supports external and built-in cameras, with auto framing, ePTZ and digital zoom. The camera is an optional item, so state your camera needs when you request a quote.

Where it fits across Qatar

A government office in Msheireb holding board meetings with colleagues abroad can open Google Drive files, join the video call and use the whiteboard from one screen, while the microphone array captures speakers along a long table.

A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out new classrooms can use the whiteboard tools for handwriting, shape and formula recognition, and automated question generation by difficulty level. The 55-inch and 65-inch sizes suit smaller rooms.

A serviced apartment operator in The Pearl preparing an executive meeting room could choose the 75-inch or 86-inch size and connect a presenter laptop through the single USB-C cable, which provides 100 W of charging power.

What to plan before ordering

Weight matters. Net weights run from 32 kg for the 55-inch to 108 kg for the 98-inch, so wall fixing needs a structural check, especially for the largest sizes. Outline dimensions and mounting positions differ by size, so compare the technical drawing for the size you choose. Dimensions are approximate. The source data gives no operating temperature range, so confirm room conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team, including direct sunlight through windows and dust, before installation. A free site survey can cover wall structure, power and cable routes.

Quotations usually arrive within one working day. Send your room dimensions, number of units and any camera or mounting needs, and we will prepare a quotation that can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Request a quote today for the size that fits your room.

Questions about Elara Elite

What is the Newline Elara Elite and who is it for?

It is a 4K interactive display with Android 16 built in, designed for meeting rooms, classrooms and boardrooms where teams share content and join video calls. It suits organisations in Qatar that want one screen to replace a separate PC, camera and speaker set. Sizes run from 55 to 98 inches, covering compact huddle rooms through large boardrooms.

Does the Elara Elite give access to Google Drive and the Play Store?

Yes. The display has official Google EDLA certification, which gives secure, direct access to corporate Google Drive files, cloud documents and the full Google Play Store library from the panel itself. Teams can work on files in real time without relying on a secondary device, which suits offices already running their documents on Google services.

Which operating system does it run, and how is it kept up to date?

The panel runs certified Android 16 with 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which is expandable. Its security features include stricter permissions and real-time threat protection, and the device receives timely security patches and secure over-the-air updates. NFC tap-to-login and multi-user profiles let staff switch users quickly in shared rooms. Ask your IT team to confirm update arrangements before ordering.

How does the single USB-C cable work in a meeting room?

The front-mounted USB Type-C port carries 4K video, drives the display's touch sensor, links to the local network and delivers 100 W of power to a laptop. One cable therefore replaces several connections. This reduces clutter in rooms where presenters change laptops frequently, and the presenter's laptop can charge during the meeting.

Can it work with a video conferencing system or an external camera?

Yes. The system supports external and built-in camera integration, with auto framing, ePTZ and digital zoom, and includes an eight-microphone array with 10-metre pickup and echo cancellation. Its speakers are two 25 W front units with a 25 W subwoofer. The camera is an optional item, so state your camera requirement when you request a quote.

Which ports are available for connecting laptops and other equipment?

The front has a 100 W USB Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 input, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-B touch port and a microphone input. The rear adds HDMI 2.1 output, DisplayPort 1.2, RS232, Gigabit RJ45 input and output, an OPS slot, an SDM-S slot, SPDIF and line out. Compare this layout with your cable plan so the ports sit where presenters will use them.

What are the OPS and SDM-S slots used for?

An OPS slot accepts an OPS-standard computing module, and the SDM-S slot takes a compatible SDM-S module. Both let a site add computing capacity beyond the built-in Android system. The source data confirms the slots but does not list compatible modules, so ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm which modules work with this model before you buy.

How heavy is the panel, and what should I plan for wall mounting?

Net weights are 32 kg for the 55-inch, 39 kg for the 65-inch, 52 kg for the 75-inch, 65 kg for the 86-inch and 108 kg for the 98-inch. Wall fixing needs a structural check, especially on lightweight partition walls. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before mounting, which is worth booking for the 86-inch and 98-inch panels.

Which size suits a classroom or boardroom?

Choose by viewing distance and room size. The 55-inch and 65-inch sizes suit smaller classrooms and huddle rooms, while the 86-inch and 98-inch sizes suit lecture halls and large boardrooms. The 75-inch sits between these. Compare the technical drawing for each size against your wall and seating layout before you decide.

Will it perform well in hot or sunlit rooms in Qatar?

The source data does not give an operating temperature range or environmental rating for this model, so its suitability for hot or sunlit spaces cannot be confirmed from the specification. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly exceed 45°C, so confirm the room conditions, including sunlight through windows and dust exposure, with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

How could a school in Education City use the AI whiteboard tools?

A private international school in Education City setting up interactive lessons can use the whiteboard tools for handwriting, text, shape and formula recognition, and automated question generation by difficulty level. Diagram creation and content structuring support lesson preparation. Test these features in the actual classroom layout during the site survey before committing to several units.

How do I request a quote, and what buying options are available?

Send your room size, number of units and any camera or mounting requirements to SmartRooms Qatar. Quotations are usually provided within one working day. Purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including those on Monaqasat, are accepted, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
