What the Newline TT-8624ZPRO is

The Newline TT-8624ZPRO is an 86-inch interactive display from the Z Pro Series, designed for corporate meetings rather than general signage. It uses a 4K panel with 3840 × 2160 resolution on an LCD backlight, and its display area measures 1895 x 1066 mm. The P-CAP touch layer and 178° viewing angle let people at the sides of a large room read the same content as those seated in front of the screen.

Meeting features that matter in daily use

Google EDLA certification means the device is set up to work with Google applications and services. The panel runs Android 13, and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides come built in as core applications, so a team can edit a shared document directly on the screen. Other apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The optional 4K AI camera is the main addition for video calls. It works alongside the 8-microphone array and the integrated speakers, which include a subwoofer and which the manufacturer describes as providing enhanced audio clarity. Confirm in your quotation whether the camera is included, because the manufacturer lists it as optional.

Connectivity, hygiene and day-to-day control

A single USB-C cable carries data, audio, video and power, so connecting a laptop needs one cable rather than separate audio, video and power connections. The manufacturer marks the panel Wi-Fi 6 Ready and SDM-S Ready. User profiles let IT teams set up separate environments for employees, teams or departments, each with its own apps and themes. The proximity sensor switches the screen on or off according to whether people are in the room, which helps limit energy use when rooms are empty. The touch surface carries a TÜV certified antimicrobial coating and is rated 9H on the pencil hardness scale.

Where it fits in Qatar

Boardroom in West Bay or Lusail: an 86-inch panel suits an executive table where people share documents on screen, while the camera and microphones handle calls with partners abroad.
Ministry meeting room in Msheireb: a single-room purchase made against an LPO, with a site survey to confirm wall loading and viewing distances before installation.
Lecture hall or seminar room in Education City: a large screen for a group of students, with user profiles that let each department keep its own apps and themes.

What to plan before you order

At 75 kg, the TT-8624ZPRO is a heavy panel. Have a qualified installer check the wall or mounting structure before ordering, and plan the delivery route and how the panel will be lifted into the room. The display area is 1895 x 1066 mm, so measure the wall space and allow for the viewing distance of the people seated furthest away. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so if the panel would sit near a window, in a lobby or in a space without air conditioning, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before committing.

SmartRooms Qatar supplies and delivers to all 8 municipalities of Qatar, provides professional installation and free site surveys, and handles purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders. Quotations are usually provided within one working day. Request a quote for the TT-8624ZPRO and include your room size, wall type and whether you need the optional camera.

Questions about TT-8624ZPRO

Which rooms is the Newline TT-8624ZPRO designed for?

It is designed for corporate meeting spaces that need one large shared screen, such as boardrooms, executive offices and large conference rooms. The 86-inch panel, 1895 x 1066 mm display area and 178° viewing angle keep content readable for people seated across a wide table. A smaller panel in the same series may suit smaller rooms better.

What resolution and display area does the panel offer?

The panel offers 3840 × 2160 (4K) resolution on an LCD backlight, with a display area of 1895 x 1066 mm and a 178° viewing angle. The touch layer is P-CAP, and the manufacturer rates the touch surface at 9H on the pencil hardness scale. Ask the SmartRooms Qatar team for the spec sheet if you need full dimensions and weight before deciding.

Is the 4K AI camera included as standard?

The manufacturer describes the 4K AI camera as optional, so it is not guaranteed in every configuration. Where it is fitted, it works with the 8-microphone array and integrated speakers with subwoofer to support video calls from one panel. If your meetings need the camera, say so when you request a quote so the configuration matches your room and call platform.

Can the panel support hybrid meetings with teams in Europe or Asia?

Yes, when fitted with the optional camera and works with the microphone array. A headquarters in Doha can run a meeting with partners abroad from one boardroom table, while the 4K picture and speakers with subwoofer keep remote voices and shared slides clear. Confirm your video conferencing software with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering, because the source data does not list supported platforms.

Which Google services does it support?

The Newline TT-8624ZPRO is Google EDLA certified, which the manufacturer says guarantees compatibility with Google applications and services. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are built in as core applications, and apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. This suits teams that already work in these files, because staff can open their documents directly on the large screen.

Which operating system does it run?

The panel runs Android 13, which the manufacturer presents as an upgrade over Android 11 with smoother multitasking, stronger security features and wider app compatibility. For an IT team, this means a current platform on a shared screen used by many staff members. Check with your supplier which app versions you plan to use before the installation date is set.

Is the touch surface antimicrobial?

Yes, the touch surface has a TÜV certified antimicrobial coating, which the manufacturer applies to reduce germ spread when many people share one display. This is relevant to a hospital training room, a clinic waiting area or a school classroom where many people touch the screen each day. Follow the cleaning guidance in the user manual, because the coating supports hygiene but does not replace routine cleaning.

Can it be installed in a hot room or near a sunny window?

The source data does not state an operating temperature range for this model, so its suitability for hot or sunlit locations cannot be assumed. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly exceed 45°C, so a room with a large window or no air conditioning needs checking first. Ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the environment before requesting installation, and plan the wall position during a free site survey.

How heavy is the panel and what should I plan for wall mounting?

The TT-8624ZPRO weighs 75 kg, which is heavier than the smaller models in the series. Plan a structural check of the wall, a clear delivery route and a team that can lift the panel safely. The source data does not include mounting specifications, so the installer should confirm the bracket and fixing method. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys and professional installation across Qatar.

Will the proximity sensor help a university lecture hall save energy?

The proximity sensor turns the display on and off based on whether people are present in the room. In a lecture hall in Education City or a seminar room used for short, scattered sessions, this helps limit running time when the room is empty. Check the control options with your installer, because the source data does not describe scheduling or remote management.

How do user profiles help a shared office or government floor?

User profiles let the panel hold separate settings for employees, teams or departments, including dedicated apps and themes. In an office in Msheireb or the Industrial Area where several departments share one meeting room, each group can switch to its own setup without reconfiguring the device. This saves time that would otherwise go on switching between users.

How can a government office buy this through an LPO or tender?

SmartRooms Qatar supplies the TT-8624ZPRO against purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat. Send your tender reference or LPO requirements with the room details, and we usually provide a quotation within one working day. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Lead times are estimates, confirmed in the quotation based on stock.
