Overview

The Newline TT-8622Z is an 86-inch 4K interactive display with a built-in camera, an 8-microphone array and speakers, all in one unit. It offers a 178° viewing angle, 20-point P-CAP touch, antimicrobial touch glass and a single USB-C cable for video, audio, data and power. Suited to boardrooms, lecture theatres and hybrid meeting rooms across Qatar, it is quoted on request from SmartRooms Qatar.

An 86-inch 4K interactive display built for boardrooms and large meetings

The Newline TT-8622Z is the largest model in the Z Series, an 86-inch 4K panel that combines a touch display, a camera, a microphone array and speakers in one enclosure. For organisations in Qatar that run hybrid meetings between Doha and overseas offices, it reduces the need to equip each room with a separate camera, conference audio and touch screen.

The specifications that shape the purchase

The panel runs at 3840 × 2160 resolution with an LED backlight, a 178° viewing angle and a brightness of 400 cd/m². Its projected capacitive touch layer supports 20 touch points in the standard configuration, with 40 points on the Windows option. The front is anti-glare, anti-fingerprint, antimicrobial tempered glass rated 7H on the Mohs scale, with 88% transparency (±3).

Inside the enclosure are an Amlogic 311D2 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage running Android 11. The camera is an 8-megapixel module with a 120° field of view that records 4K at 30 Hz. The 8-microphone array picks up voices from up to 8 metres away, and the speakers deliver 20 W × 2 plus a 15 W subwoofer.

Connectivity for the rooms you already have

USB-C: one cable carries video, audio, data and power, with 65 W power delivery as standard and 100 W as an option.
Video inputs: three HDMI 2.0 inputs, plus a DisplayPort 1.2 output and an HDMI 2.0 output.
Expansion: an OPS-PC slot for an integrated PC module, an SDM-S slot and a Wi-Fi module slot.
Control and network: an RS-232 input and RJ-45 network in and out ports.
USB: four USB Type-B touch ports and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports.

Where the TT-8622Z fits in Qatar

A government office in Msheireb that needs a boardroom for twenty or more people can use the 86-inch format to show documents to the whole table, while the camera and microphones carry a session with a team working from another site. An international school in Education City could mount one in a lecture theatre, where the 178° viewing angle keeps text readable from the back rows. A company in West Bay or Lusail setting up a training room can use the user profile settings to save separate home screens for different departments.

What to plan before ordering

The specification table lists a weight of 62 kg, while the datasheet gives a net weight of 60 kg and a gross shipping weight of 76 kg. Plan wall structures, lifting and delivery around the higher figure, and confirm the final numbers in your quotation. The outline measures 1965 × 1184 × 85 mm without the wall bracket, so check doorways, corridors and lift access before delivery. A free site survey is worth arranging before the bracket is fixed to a wall.

The working temperature range is 0°C to 40°C at 20% to 80% relative humidity, non-condensing. Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly exceed 45°C, so the room needs dependable air conditioning, and the panel should not sit in direct sunlight from a window or near a dusty entrance. The power input range is AC 100 to 240 V, and standard power consumption is 210 W. The SmartRooms Qatar team can help confirm cabling and socket arrangements with your electrician.

If you are comparing sizes, the TT-8622Z suits large rooms, while smaller meeting rooms may be better served by the 65-inch or 75-inch Z Series models. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar. Our team will set out the configuration and delivery details in the quotation, usually within one working day.

Questions about TT-8622Z

Who is the Newline TT-8622Z best suited for?

It suits large rooms where a full table or a group needs to share one screen. The 86-inch 4K panel and 178° viewing angle keep content readable from wide seating positions. In Qatar, that means boardrooms in government and corporate offices, lecture theatres at universities, and training rooms in Education City or West Bay where the audience sits far from the screen.

Does it include a camera and microphones, and how well do they suit hybrid meetings?

Yes. It has an 8-megapixel camera with a 120° field of view that records 4K at 30 Hz, and an 8-microphone array with a pickup distance of 8 metres. The speakers deliver 20 W per channel with a 15 W subwoofer. For a Doha boardroom joining an overseas team, this reduces how much separate camera and conference audio equipment the room needs.

How many touch points does it support, and what is the surface made of?

The standard configuration supports 20 touch points, and the Windows option raises this to 40. The projected capacitive (P-CAP) layer accepts passive pen or finger input. The front is tempered glass rated 7H on the Mohs scale, with anti-glare and anti-fingerprint treatment, an antimicrobial coating and 88% transparency (±3), which suits workshops where several people write on the screen in turn.

What operating system and expansion options does it have?

It runs Android 11 on an Amlogic 311D2 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The OPS-PC slot accepts an integrated PC module, which is useful where a Windows environment is needed. There is also an SDM-S slot and a Wi-Fi module slot, so ask your IT team which slot suits your network plan before ordering.

Can my team connect a laptop from the department, and how many inputs are there?

Yes. There are three HDMI 2.0 inputs, and a USB-C port that carries video, audio and data with 65 W power delivery as standard or 100 W as an option, so a laptop can charge while it presents. Four USB Type-B ports serve the touch function. A DisplayPort 1.2 output and an HDMI 2.0 output let you feed a second display or recording device from the same unit.

Can it be wall-mounted, and how much does it weigh?

Wall mounting and a mobile stand are both listed as options. The specification table gives 62 kg, while the datasheet gives 60 kg net and 76 kg gross, so plan for the heavier figure. The outline is 1965 × 1184 × 85 mm without the wall bracket. Before fixing a bracket, arrange a free site survey to check the wall structure and the route for delivery.

Will it cope with Qatar summers?

The working temperature range is 0°C to 40°C at 20% to 80% relative humidity, non-condensing, and storage is rated from -20°C to 60°C. Qatar summers often exceed 45°C, so install it in an air-conditioned room, away from direct sunlight through windows and from dusty entrances. If you are unsure about a particular space, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.

Does it work on Qatar's 240 V supply?

The datasheet lists a working voltage of AC 100 to 240 V, so the input range covers Qatar's 240 V mains. Standard power consumption is 210 W. The published data does not give the plug or cable type for BS 1363 sockets, so ask the team to confirm the power cable arrangement with your electrician when you request your quotation.

What warranty applies to the TT-8622Z?

The TT-8622Z is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The published specification does not state the warranty period or terms, so ask for the warranty details to be included in your quotation. Keep the written terms on file with your purchase order so your procurement records show the correct coverage.

How does it compare with the 65-inch and 75-inch Z Series models?

All three share the 4K panel, P-CAP touch, 178° viewing angle and camera and microphone array. The TT-8622Z has the largest display area at 1893 × 1069 mm and weighs 62 kg, against 37 kg for the 65-inch TT-6522Z and 50 kg for the 75-inch TT-7522Z. Choose it when the room needs the bigger screen and the wall can carry the extra load.

Can a school or public body buy it through an LPO or tender?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including those published on Monaqasat. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. A school equipping several classrooms, or an office fitting out multiple boardrooms, can request one quotation covering every unit, with configuration and delivery details listed.
