Hubware H5 65

A 65-inch panel that carries its own computer

The OneScreen Hubware H5 65 is a discontinued model, and the manufacturer has stopped producing it. This page is written for organisations that already run it, buyers comparing it with newer panels, and anyone looking for a replacement. It is the 65-inch step in the Hubware H5 range, which the manufacturer lists in 55, 65, 75, 86 and 98-inch sizes. At this size it suits rooms where one screen has to handle presentations, video calls and annotation without a separate PC cart.

Display, touch and sound

The panel is an original LG IPS LED screen with 4K UHD resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels, a 60 Hz refresh rate, 400 cd/m² brightness and a 178 degree viewing angle, so people seated at the side of a room can still read slides. It supports 10-bit colour with a high colour gamut, which keeps detailed drawings and maps legible. The 20-point infrared touch accepts a finger or stylus with 2mm accuracy and a response time under 8 ms. The anti-glare glass has 8 Mohs hardness. Two Dolby stereo speakers rated 15W each are built in.

Built-in OPS PC, Android and camera

The OPS module carries an Intel i7 7th Gen processor, 8GB RAM, a 256 GB SSD, gigabit Ethernet and Windows 10 Pro, so desktop software can run without a separate computer. A separate Android 6 system with a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 64GB storage handles apps such as Chrome and Office. Five multimedia USB ports switch automatically between Android and the OPS PC during use. The 1080p PTZ camera offers 12x optical zoom and a 72.5 degree wide-angle lens, and the speakerphone uses adaptive array microphones with a 15 ft pickup range and focus on the active speaker.

Where it fits in Qatar

A training room at a campus in Education City may use this size for a group of students who need to see the board and write on it directly. An office in Doha where staff work in Arabic and English side by side can use the annotation tools to mark up shared documents during a meeting. A boardroom in Lusail with a table for around ten people, calling colleagues abroad, benefits from the speakerphone and the PTZ camera, which together keep the speaker clear for remote participants.

What to plan before ordering

A flush wall mount with a VESA 400 x 400 pattern is provided. The panel weighs 135 lbs and ships at 168 lbs, so a free site survey is worth booking before installation to check wall construction, mounting height and delivery access. The listed power input is AC 100-240V at 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz supply. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before placing the panel near a window or in a lobby exposed to summer heat and dust. The advanced hardware replacement warranty is only available at the time of purchase, so confirm it when you request your quote.

Because this model is discontinued, the most direct route to a like-for-like outcome is a quote request. Tell the SmartRooms Qatar team your room size, mounting method and software needs, and ask for a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and purchase orders and government tenders, including Monaqasat, are accepted.
