Hubware H6 Business 86

What the OneScreen Hubware H6 Business 86 is

The OneScreen Hubware H6 Business 86 is an 86-inch interactive display with an LG panel, 4K UHD resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It brings a large touch surface, an Android 8.0 system, an integrated Intel i5 OPS PC and several video inputs into one unit, so a room can run presentations, annotate content and join calls without a separate computer. The manufacturer has discontinued this model. This page is written for organisations that already run it, buyers comparing it with newer displays, and anyone searching for a replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement.

Picture quality and touch performance

The panel has a pixel pitch of 0.315 mm, a brightness rating of 400 cd/m2 and 1.07 billion displayable colours, with viewing angles of 178 degrees horizontally and 176 degrees vertically. The anti-glare glass has 8 MOHS surface strength, which helps in rooms with strong ceiling lights or large windows. The infrared touch frame offers 20 touch points, touch accuracy of 3 mm and a response time of 2.5 m/s or better. Palm detection and pen-and-touch differentiation mean a presenter can rest a hand on the surface while writing with a pen.

Built-in PC, ports and audio

The OPS PC runs an Intel i5 7th Gen processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Its listed operating systems are Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Linux. The display's own Android 8.0 system adds 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of memory. Key connections include:

• Three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort and one VGA input
• RJ-45 network port and RS232 control port
• Dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with 5G hotspot mode
• Front and rear USB ports, plus a 3.5 mm headphone output

Two 16 W speakers handle audio, and the unit supports HDCP 2.2 on HDMI.

Where it fits in Qatar

A lecture theatre in Education City or a training centre in Doha needs a screen that can be read from the back row, and 86 inches gives an instructor room to show a document, a spreadsheet and a video side by side. In a boardroom for a government body in Msheireb, a 4K panel can help Arabic and English speakers share slides with colleagues abroad, using the 1080p web camera listed with the model. In a private school in Al Wakrah, the panel can replace a projector and whiteboard in a shared hall.

What to plan before installation

This model weighs 150 lb and measures 76.9 by 46.2 by 3.9 inches. Its shipping package measures 86.2 by 58.3 by 14 inches and weighs 218.2 lb, so access routes, lifts and doorways need checking before delivery. The wall mount uses a VESA pattern of 750 by 400, so the wall, bracket and mounting height must be confirmed. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys for this. The power supply accepts 100 to 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz, with a maximum draw of 450 W and standby of 0.5 W. The included power cable is listed as a US cable, so the plug type for BS 1363 sockets should be confirmed in the quotation. The manufacturer data we hold does not give an operating temperature range, so the room conditions should be reviewed with our team, especially rooms facing windows.
