Hubware H6 Education 86

An 86-inch display with its own PC built in

The OneScreen Hubware H6 Education 86 combines an 86-inch LG panel with an integrated OPS computer, so a teacher or presenter can run lessons and meetings without placing a separate desktop beside the screen. The OPS module supports Linux and Windows 7, 8 and 10, and the display itself runs Android 8.0. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, which matters for current owners and for buyers comparing it with newer displays.

Panel, touch and audio facts that matter

The panel offers 3840 x 2160 resolution at a 60 Hz refresh rate, with brightness of 400 cd/m2 or higher and anti-glare glass rated at 8 on the Mohs scale. The infrared touch layer provides 20 touch points with 3 mm accuracy, palm detection and the ability to tell a pen from a finger. Annotation can be written over any connected source. Two built-in 16W speakers with Dolby sound, automatic volume control and an equaliser suit a room of this size.

• Inputs: three HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, VGA, a microphone input and two touch USB inputs
• Connectivity: RS232, RJ-45, five USB ports and dual-band Wi-Fi with 5G hotspot
• Power: AC 100-240V, 50/60 Hz, rated at up to 450W with standby at 0.5W or less

Connectivity, the OPS PC and included software

The OPS PC uses a 7th Gen Intel i5 processor with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. It has six USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5mm line out and an HDMI 2.0 output at 4K 60Hz, plus dual-antenna Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The panel includes a 1080p web camera with an ultra-wide field of view and a built-in microphone, along with a full-size Logitech wireless keyboard with touchpad rated for a 33-foot range. Software covers OneScreen Annotate, Write, Navigate and EShare screen sharing, with Android apps and the Google Play Store.

Where it fits across Qatar

An 86-inch panel suits rooms where people sit well back from the screen. Three realistic situations in Qatar:

• A lecture hall at a university in Education City, where slides, labs and detailed diagrams must be readable from the back row.
• A government boardroom in Msheireb, where a long table needs a large display for presentations and a video link to colleagues abroad.
• A private international school in Lusail fitting out a multipurpose hall, where teachers switch between English and Arabic lesson material on one screen.

What to plan before you order

The panel measures 76.9 x 46.2 x 3.9 inches and weighs 150 lbs, with a shipping weight of 218.2 lbs. Its VESA 750 x 400 mount pattern means the bracket must match those hole spacings. Check the wall's load capacity and the route through doors, lifts and corridors before delivery. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, which is the sensible first step for a panel this size. Because the box includes a US-style power cable, ask the team to confirm the correct lead for BS 1363 sockets. The advanced hardware replacement warranty was only available at the time of purchase.

The source data does not give an operating temperature range for this model. Before planning a window-facing or unconditioned space, where summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C and dust storms are common, confirm conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team.

Because this model is discontinued, request a quote for a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. Quotations usually arrive within one working day, and the team can align the specification with your room, your software and your purchase order.
