Hubware HL7 Education 55

What the 55-inch Hubware HL7 Education is built for

The Hubware HL7 Education 55 is a 55-inch interactive display for teaching and collaboration. Its OneScreen OPS PC runs the panel directly, so a lesson, team huddle or video call can start without a separate desktop taking up space at the front of the room. As the most compact model in the HL7 Education family, it suits classrooms, staff rooms and meeting rooms where a larger screen would dominate the space.

Panel and touch performance that matters in class

• 4K UHD resolution at 3840 x 2160 on a 16:9 LED-backlit panel rated at 400 cd/m²
• 40-point infrared touch with 1.5 mm accuracy and response under 7 ms
• Level 7 Mohs anti-glare, anti-fingerprint glass to reduce reflections and smudges
• Ambient light sensor that adjusts brightness to the room
• 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit with a 178° viewing angle

Two stylus pens with an anti-bacterial coating are supplied, so each group in a lesson can use its own pen. Forty touch points means several students can write, drag or annotate at the same time.

Computing, ports and wireless connections

The manufacturer lists Android 11 and Windows 11 as operating systems, with 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM, 64 GB or 256 GB of storage, quad-core ARM Cortex or Intel i7 processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Confirm the exact build with SmartRooms Qatar when you request a quote.

• Front: one HDMI input, one USB touch port, two USB 3.0 ports and a USB Type-C port rated for 65W Power Delivery
• Side: two HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, VGA input with audio input, RS-232, two RJ-45 ports, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm audio output
• Wireless: Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2 and Gigabit Ethernet (1000M)

Camera, audio and remote control

The OneScreen TrackCam records 4K UHD video with a 110° field of view and up to 8x digital zoom. Electronic pan, tilt and zoom can be driven by built-in AI or by the remote control, which keeps a teacher in frame during a hybrid lesson. Two 16 W speakers with stereo output and an array microphone cover sound in the room. A full-length wireless keyboard with touchpad, rated for a 33 ft range, is supplied along with a remote control and HDMI, power, USB touch and USB-C cables.

Where it fits across Qatar

• Primary classroom in Al Wakrah: a private school fitting out a teaching room where a 55-inch screen suits the desk layout and the teacher's position at the front.
• Seminar room in Education City: a university department running hybrid sessions, using the TrackCam to follow the presenter while remote students join from abroad.
• Huddle room in West Bay: a bilingual team sharing documents over Wi-Fi 6 during the Sunday to Thursday working week.

Doha summers push temperatures above 45°C, and rooms with large windows can suffer glare. Mount the panel away from direct sun, and confirm the operating environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation, because the manufacturer data does not list an operating temperature range.

Planning the installation and power

At 57.54 lb, the panel is best lifted by two people, and it needs a VESA standard 400 x 200 flush wall mount on a wall that can carry its weight. A free site survey lets SmartRooms Qatar check the wall, cable routes and power point before drilling. The power input accepts 100 to 240 V AC at 50 to 60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V supply. Typical draw is 160 W and maximum is 320 W, figures to include when you plan circuits for several units.

The panel carries a 3-year standard warranty, with optional hardware cover upgrades offered by the manufacturer. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar and we will usually respond within one working day with a configuration, delivery across all 8 municipalities of Qatar and installation options for your room.
