Hubware HL7 Education 98

What the 98-inch Hubware HL7 Education 98 is

The OneScreen Hubware HL7 Education 98 is a 98-inch interactive display for schools, universities and meeting rooms that need one large surface for writing, presenting and video calls. Its 3840 x 2160 LED panel uses a 16:9 aspect ratio, and the OneScreen OPS PC is part of the unit, so lessons and meetings can run from the screen itself. Within the Hubware HL7 Education range, it is the largest model with a 16:9 panel.

Display and touch performance for large rooms

The panel is rated at 350 cd/m² and shows 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit depth, with a 178° viewing angle, so people seated at the sides and back of a room see the same content clearly. A 60 Hz refresh rate and a blue light filter support long teaching sessions. The Zero Bonding IR touch system handles up to 40 touch points with 1.5 mm accuracy and a response time below 7 ms, keeping group work at the board responsive. An ambient light sensor adjusts brightness to the room, and the Level 7 Mohs anti-glare, anti-fingerprint glass reduces reflections under bright ceiling lights.

Computing, ports and connectivity

The OPS PC offers Windows 11 or Android 11, with 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM, 64 GB or 256 GB of storage, Intel Iris Xe graphics and TPM 2.0 security. Processor options are an Intel i7 or a quad-core ARM Cortex. Confirm the exact configuration on your quotation. Front ports include one HDMI input, a touch USB port, two USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C port rated at 65 W Power Delivery. Side ports add two more HDMI inputs, an HDMI output, VGA input with audio, RS-232, two RJ-45 ports and a 3.5 mm audio output. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and Bluetooth 5.2.

Video conferencing, audio and control

The OneScreen TrackCam records 4K UHD video with a 110° field of view and up to 8x digital zoom. Its electronic pan, tilt and zoom can be driven by built-in AI or by the remote control. Two 16W stereo speakers and an array microphone carry sound across the room, which matters for hybrid lessons and meetings with participants abroad. A full-length wireless Logitech keyboard with touchpad (33 ft range) and two stylus pens with anti-bacterial coating are included.

Where it fits in Qatar

A university seminar room in Education City can use the 98-inch screen for lectures while the camera and microphones connect lecturers with partner teams overseas, a setting where Arabic and English often run side by side. A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out a multipurpose hall can use it for assemblies and parent presentations. In a West Bay boardroom, the full-scale surface gives a team room to review plans together, with the stylus pens for annotation.

What to plan before ordering
