What the PMB728L863 is and how it is built

The PMB728L863 is an 86-inch member of Prestigio's MultiBoard Prime Series, a large interactive display that combines a touchscreen, a built-in Windows PC and an Android layer in one metal-cased unit. The LCD panel has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 at 60Hz, and it is lit by direct LED backlighting. A 3 mm tempered glass front covers the screen, and the case is metal black.

Performance, touch and display facts that matter

The panel is rated at 350 cd/m² brightness with a contrast ratio of 5,300:1 and an 8 ms response time. A built-in ambient light sensor is fitted, which is useful in rooms where windows admit strong daylight. The infrared touch system recognises 20 simultaneous touch points and 10 writing points, with 1 mm touch accuracy, and two users can write in different colours at the same time. The panel carries a 30,000-hour lifetime rating.

Audio, power and what is in the box

Two 16 W stereo speakers are built in. The internal power supply accepts AC 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, has a 650 W maximum output and draws 0.5 W in standby. The package includes a remote control, a USB stick, six writing pens and a multi pen, together with audio, power and USB touch/HDMI cables. A Kensington lock slot is provided for securing the unit.

Where it fits in Qatar

A boardroom in West Bay that needs one screen for presentations, annotation and calls with colleagues abroad benefits from the 86-inch size and the HDMI and LAN connections, which let a laptop or a room PC feed the screen directly. In a university lecture hall in Education City, the 20-point touch and two-colour writing suit lecturers who mark up slides while students follow from the back row. At a private school in Al Rayyan refitting a classroom, the built-in Windows and Android environments let teachers run lessons without a separate computer on the desk.

What to plan before you order

The unit has a nominal weight of 65 kg and measures 1957 mm in width, so the wall or support structure must be checked before installation. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to confirm wall loading, cable routes and power points before the unit is ordered. Schools and government offices ordering several units can raise a purchase order (LPO), and payment is accepted by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. The manufacturer's warranty covers the unit for 36 months. Ask the team to confirm room conditions before installation, particularly in rooms with large windows facing the sun.
