What this 98-inch MultiBoard does in a meeting room

The Prestigio MultiBoard PSMB011P981 combines a 98-inch LCD panel, a touch surface and a computer built into the frame. It runs Android 13 on its own hardware, with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, so teams can open apps, browse and join calls from the board itself. It belongs to the second generation of the MultiBoard Light+ range, which adds Wi-Fi 6, an upgraded camera and extra software features.

Display, touch and audio figures that matter

Brightness and contrast: 500 cd/m² with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 6.5 ms response time.
Viewing angle: 178° horizontal and vertical, so people seated to the side can read content.
Touch: up to 40 touch points on tempered glass.
Audio: stereo 2.1 system, 2 x 20 W speakers plus a 20 W subwoofer.
Microphones and camera: 8-microphone array with an 8 m capture radius, and a 48 MP camera with AI auto-framing and motion or voice tracking.

Connectivity and software for mixed teams

Dual Wi-Fi runs Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Wi-Fi 6 at the same time, so staff can stay on the company network while visitors join a separate hotspot to share files or cast a screen. Bluetooth 5.1/5.3 is included. The ports are one HDMI output, two HDMI inputs, two RJ-45 LAN ports, five USB Type-A ports (four USB 3.2 and one USB 2.0), three USB 3.2 Type-B and two USB 3.2 Type-C.

A laptop connected by USB-C can be mirrored and controlled from the touch surface while it charges at 100W. The unit is Google EDLA certified, gives access to Google services and the Play Store, and is fully compatible with Google Classroom and Microsoft Education software, with Google Drive and OneDrive available for file sharing.

Where it fits across Qatar

Boardroom in West Bay or Lusail: a 98-inch screen gives a large executive team a shared view of documents and slides, while remote directors join from abroad. The 8 m microphone pickup suits a long table, but the room layout should still be checked during the site survey.

Lecture hall in Education City: the 4K image holds detail for students in the back rows. AI tracking keeps the speaker framed as they move, and lectures and screen content can be recorded for students who miss a session.

Training centre in Mesaieed or the Industrial Area: safety induction and technical briefings can combine on-site staff with colleagues connected by video. Session files can be stored on Google Drive or OneDrive so absent team members can review them later.

What to plan before you order

The panel measures 2222.7 mm wide, 1338.5 mm high and 112.5 mm deep, and weighs 87.8 kg. Plan the mounting method, delivery route and lifting access before installation day. A free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar checks wall or floor support, the nearest power point and where the network cable will run.

The package includes a 3 m HDMI cable, a 3 m USB A/B cable and 3 m power cables with E/F and G plugs. Mains input is AC 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz with a rated input of 500 W. The manufacturer data we hold does not list an operating temperature range, so confirm room conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team before placing the unit near windows, entrances or any space where summer temperatures can exceed 45°C.

Questions about PSMB011P981

Who is the 98-inch MultiBoard PSMB011P981 designed for?

It suits organisations that need one large display for both presenting and video collaboration, such as boardrooms, lecture halls and training rooms. The 98-inch screen and 40-point touch surface suit groups working on the same content at once. If your room is smaller, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to check whether a different size fits better before you request a quote.

How large is the screen and what resolution does it deliver?

The display is a 98-inch LCD panel with 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz and a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is 4K UHD. Text and diagrams stay sharp for people sitting far from the screen. The panel is rated at 500 cd/m² brightness with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, which helps viewers at the sides of a large room.

Can it run Google Classroom or Microsoft apps without a separate PC?

The unit runs Android 13 on its own hardware and is Google EDLA certified, giving access to Google services and the Play Store. The manufacturer states it is fully compatible with Google Classroom and Microsoft Education software, and that Google Drive or OneDrive can be used for file sharing. Copilot is listed as available only with an OPS module, so check which applications your organisation needs before ordering.

What ports and connections are available for laptops and guest devices?

The board has one HDMI output, two HDMI inputs, two RJ-45 LAN ports, four USB 3.2 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A port, three USB 3.2 Type-B ports and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports. Dual Wi-Fi lets staff use the company network while guests join a separate hotspot to share files or cast a screen. Bluetooth 5.1/5.3 is also supported.

Can a laptop charge while it is connected to the board?

Yes. The manufacturer describes a Bring Your Own Device feature: connect a laptop by USB-C with Power Delivery, mirror its screen, control it from the touch surface, and charge it at 100W. This is useful in long meetings when presenters arrive with low batteries. Confirm that your laptop and cable support USB Power Delivery before the meeting.

How well do the microphones and camera work for calls with teams abroad?

The 8-microphone array captures speech from up to 8 m away, and the 48 MP camera offers AI auto-framing with motion and voice tracking, so it follows the speaker. This suits meetings that connect Doha with colleagues overseas. Confirm during the site survey that your video conferencing software is supported before ordering.

Will it suit a lecture hall at Education City where sessions are recorded?

Yes, it is designed for classroom lessons. The manufacturer notes that teachers can record lectures and screen content for absent students. The software includes access to Mozabook with a one-year free licence and a library of more than 1300 3D scenes, videos, audio files and worksheets. Plan the mounting height and sightlines for the lecture hall during a site survey before installation.

How heavy is the panel and what space does it need?

The panel measures 2222.7 mm wide, 1338.5 mm high and 112.5 mm deep, and weighs 87.8 kg. That is roughly 2.2 metres wide, so the wall or stand, the delivery route and lift access must be checked before ordering. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey that checks structure, power points and access for a unit of this size.

Are the power cables suitable for Qatar's 240 V sockets?

The input is AC 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, with a rated input power of 500 W and 0.5 W standby consumption. The package includes 3 m power cables with an E/F plug and a G plug type, and the G plug matches the BS 1363 Type G sockets used in Qatar. Qatar mains power is 240 V at 50 Hz, which falls within the stated input range.

How can an IT team manage several boards remotely?

Admin users can monitor and update the board and its applications remotely, which the manufacturer describes as valuable for IT departments responsible for several units. Remote access reduces the need to visit each room. The manufacturer also states that regular security updates are provided for up to two years. For a school or government body buying several boards, ask us to confirm the update arrangements in the quotation.

What warranty applies and how do we order for a school or government body?

The manufacturer warranty term is 36 months. SmartRooms Qatar supplies against purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat, and accepts payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. A quotation is usually issued within one working day after you send the room details and quantity.

Can it be placed near a window or in a lobby during summer heat?

The manufacturer data we hold does not list an operating temperature range for this model, so we cannot confirm one. This type of display is normally used in indoor, air-conditioned meeting rooms. Before placing it near windows, entrances or lobbies where summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the conditions during your site survey.
