Overview

The Prestigio PSMB018R650 is a 65-inch interactive display with a 4K UHD LCD panel, 520 cd/m² brightness and 50-point touch on tempered glass. It runs Android 14 on a MediaTek processor, supports split-screen viewing and includes a built-in 48-megapixel camera with tracking and an 8-microphone array. It suits classrooms and meeting rooms in Doha and beyond that need one display for teaching, presenting and video calls.

What the PSMB018R650 is

The Prestigio PSMB018R650 is a 65-inch MultiBoard interactive display from the Prism series, built around a 4K UHD LCD panel with 50-point multi-touch on tempered glass. It runs Android 14 on a MediaTek processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, so teams can handle everyday tasks from one screen without a separate computer.

The specifications that matter when comparing

Resolution and brightness determine how the display performs in a real room. The panel delivers 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with 520 cd/m² brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, using a VA matrix with D-LED backlighting. The maximum response time is 6.5 ms.

Connectivity: dual Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and two RJ-45 LAN ports.
Inputs: three HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, five USB 3.2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-B and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports.
Audio and capture: an 8-microphone array with an 8 m capture radius, and a 2.1 speaker system (2 x 20 W plus a 20 W subwoofer).
Camera: a 48-megapixel built-in camera with subject framing and tracking by movement and speech.
Power: AC 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz input, 450 W rated input power, under 0.5 W in standby.

Where it fits in Qatar

A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out new classrooms can use the screen for lessons built on Google Classroom or Microsoft for Education, and for mozaBook digital textbooks. Split-view lets a teacher play a video on one side while reviewing student submissions on the other.

In a West Bay office, the same screen supports video calls with colleagues abroad. The camera follows the active speaker and the microphone array picks up voices across the table. Staff who work in Arabic and English side by side can share documents from a laptop over wireless screen sharing.

A training centre in Education City running workshops can use it to show interactive content, applications and documents in one session without changing inputs.

What to plan before installation

The panel measures 1489.8 mm wide, 924.7 mm high and 102.5 mm deep, and weighs 34.8 kg. Wall fixing needs a solid wall and a bracket rated for that load. Mounting hardware is not listed among the included accessories, so it is confirmed on the quotation. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before heavy panels are fixed.

The source data for this model does not list an operating temperature range or dust rating. Plan an air-conditioned room away from direct sun and window glare, and confirm the location with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering. The included power cable is listed as EU/UK, while Qatar uses BS 1363 Type G sockets, so the plug arrangement should be confirmed at quotation stage.

An optional PC module with an Intel processor and Windows 11 Pro is available if your staff rely on Windows applications. Confirm whether it belongs in your configuration.

Questions about PSMB018R650

Who is the Prestigio PSMB018R650 best suited to?

The PSMB018R650 suits classrooms, lecture spaces and mid-sized meeting rooms that need one display for teaching, presentations and video calls. Its 65-inch 4K UHD panel and 520 cd/m² brightness suit a training room at Education City or a team meeting room in West Bay. For very large halls, choose the screen size with a site survey before ordering.

What resolution, brightness and contrast does the panel offer?

The panel is a 65-inch LCD with a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 at 60 Hz and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It delivers 520 cd/m² brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, using a VA matrix with D-LED backlighting and a 6.5 ms maximum response time. These figures give clear text and video in classrooms and offices with overhead lighting switched on.

Does it work with Google Classroom and Microsoft 365 for a school in Al Wakrah?

Yes. The PSMB018R650 runs Android 14 and supports Google Classroom, Microsoft for Education and mozaBook from Mozaik Education. A school in Al Wakrah can create and manage assignments, collaborate with students in real time and use digital textbooks from one environment. Ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the school account setup when you request a quote.

Can staff in a West Bay office use Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 on it?

Google EDLA certification is listed for this model, covering Google Mobile Services apps such as Gmail, Drive and Meet. Full Microsoft 365 access on a Windows environment is linked to the optional PC module, which runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel processor. A West Bay office with a Windows setup should ask for the configuration to be confirmed on the quotation.

How does split-view help a teacher in Lusail?

Split-view lets a teacher show two sources side by side, such as a video on one half and notes or student submissions on the other. The display can run apps, browsers, documents and videos at the same time. A Lusail teacher can show a video and write key points beside it during a lesson, without switching windows.

What do the camera and microphones do in a Doha meeting room?

The 8-microphone array captures voices up to 8 m away and supports 180° voice capture. The 48-megapixel built-in camera frames and tracks speakers by movement and speech. A Doha office holding calls with teams abroad can keep participants visible without a separate camera. The 2.1 audio system uses two 20 W speakers and a 20 W subwoofer.

Can I share a laptop or tablet to the screen wirelessly?

Yes. The display supports wireless screen sharing, so participants can show content from a laptop or tablet without switching inputs. Dual Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.2 support the connection. A mobile device can also connect through a USB-C port with Power Delivery at 65 W, charging the device while it controls the display.

What ports and inputs are included?

The panel has three HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, two RJ-45 LAN ports, five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-B ports and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports. The HDMI output can pass the picture to another display. The included cables are a USB cable, an HDMI cable and a power cable listed as EU/UK, so check the power arrangement before installation.

Will it cope with Doha summer heat and dust?

The source data for this model does not give an operating temperature range or dust rating, so SmartRooms Qatar cannot confirm either from the specification. Install it in an air-conditioned room away from direct sun and window glare, and confirm the planned location with our team before you request a quote. Summer conditions above 45°C also mean the room's cooling capacity should be checked.

How much space does it need and can it be wall-mounted?

The panel measures 1489.8 mm wide, 924.7 mm high and 102.5 mm deep, and weighs 34.8 kg. Wall mounting needs a solid wall and a bracket rated for that weight. Mounting hardware is not listed among the included accessories, so it is priced into the quotation. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before a heavy panel is fixed to a wall.

What is included in the box?

The box includes a remote control, six writing pens, a quick start guide, a warranty card, a USB cable, an HDMI cable and a power cable listed as EU/UK. The manufacturer lists a 36-month warranty term for this model. Ask the team to confirm the power cable type when you request a quote, because Qatar uses BS 1363 Type G sockets.

Can a school or government entity buy several units through an LPO?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), government tenders including Monaqasat, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send the quantity, the room list and any mounting requirements, and a quotation is usually issued within one working day. Lead times are estimates confirmed with the quotation based on stock.
