An 86-inch 4K panel built for shared rooms

The Prestigio MultiBoard PSMB018R860 is an 86-inch interactive display from the MultiBoard Prism series. It pairs a 3840x2160 4K UHD VA panel with a 50-point touch surface on tempered glass, so several people can write, annotate and move content at the same time. Brightness of 520 cd/m² and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio help text and charts stay readable in a bright room.

The panel runs Android 14 on a MediaTek processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. A built-in AI assistant button and a 48 MP camera with face and voice tracking are part of the same device, so a basic meeting setup needs fewer separate components.

Connectivity, power and what is in the box

The display has three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, two RJ-45 LAN ports, five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-B ports and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports. Dual Wi-Fi covers Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6, with Bluetooth 5.2. A USB-C connection supports 65 W Power Delivery, so a mobile device can charge while it is controlled from the display.

The power input is listed as 100 to 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with a rated input of 600 W and standby consumption below 0.5 W. The included power cable is the EU/UK type, so confirm the plug fitting for BS 1363 (Type G) sockets when you request your quotation. The box includes a remote control, six writing pens, a USB cable, an HDMI cable, a quick start guide and a warranty card. The manufacturer's warranty term for this model is 36 months.

Planning an 86-inch installation

At 1958 mm wide, 1187.2 mm high and 102.7 mm deep, weighing 58 kg, this is a large panel. Before wall mounting, the wall structure, fixing method and cable route should be checked. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, professional installation and delivery to all eight municipalities of Qatar, so the team can measure the room before the quotation is finalised.

Viewing angles of 178 degrees let people seated at the sides of a long boardroom table see the same image clearly.

Where it fits in Qatar

Boardroom in West Bay or Msheireb: an 86-inch panel for a long table, with wireless screen sharing from laptops and tablets brought by visiting teams.
Lecture room in Education City or a training centre: the 8-microphone array captures voices up to 8 m away, and the 2.1 speaker system covers the room.
Classroom in Al Rayyan or Al Wakrah: integration with Google Classroom and Microsoft 365, split-view for notes beside a video, and a 50-point touch surface for group activities.

Summer conditions need attention. Temperatures in Qatar regularly exceed 45°C, and the operating temperature range for this model is not in the data we hold. Confirm the room environment, air conditioning and distance from windows with the SmartRooms Qatar team before placing the panel near glass.

Ordering for schools, ministries and companies

Many buyers order against a purchase order or LPO, and government tenders, including Monaqasat, are handled through the quotation process. Payment is by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. For several units, ask for one quotation covering every room so that models and installation scope match across sites. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar and the team usually replies within one working day.

Questions about PSMB018R860

What is the Prestigio PSMB018R860 used for?

It is an 86-inch interactive display for classrooms, lecture rooms, boardrooms and training rooms. The 4K UHD panel, 50-point touch surface and built-in Android 14 system let presenters annotate, share screens and open apps directly on the panel. It suits organisations in Doha that run hybrid meetings with teams abroad, and schools that teach with Microsoft 365 or Google Classroom. The manufacturer's 36-month warranty applies.

Is 86 inches the right size for a boardroom or classroom?

An 86-inch panel suits a large lecture hall or boardroom where the furthest seat is several metres from the screen. A smaller room, such as a meeting room in The Pearl or a primary classroom in Al Sadd, may be better served by a smaller model. The panel measures 1958 mm wide and 1187.2 mm high, so measure the wall and seating layout before choosing. SmartRooms Qatar can confirm the fit during a free site survey.

Does it integrate with Microsoft 365 and Google Classroom?

Yes. The manufacturer describes full integration with both Microsoft 365 and Google Classroom, and the panel is Google EDLA certified, which the manufacturer states ensures compatibility with Google services such as Gmail, Drive and Meet. It also supports the mozaBook platform from Mozaik Education. A school in Al Rayyan can manage assignments in Google Classroom while a corporate team in Lusail works in Word and Excel on the same display.

Can I add a Windows PC to this model?

An optional PC module is listed for the MultiBoard Prism series. The manufacturer describes it as an Intel processor running Windows 11 Pro, which brings Windows applications to the display without extra hardware. It is not part of the accessories listed for this model, so request it as a separate line on your quotation if your team needs Windows enterprise software. Confirm the module specifications and availability with SmartRooms Qatar before ordering.

Which ports does it have for connecting laptops and sources?

The panel has three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, two RJ-45 LAN ports, five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-B ports and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports. Dual Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6) and Bluetooth 5.2 handle wireless connections. In a Doha office where several presenters share one screen, the three HDMI inputs and wireless sharing reduce cable swapping between meetings.

Will it run on Qatar's 240 V mains supply?

The power input is listed as 100 to 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz, which covers the 240 V, 50 Hz supply used in Qatar. The rated input is 600 W, and standby power is below 0.5 W. The included cable is the EU/UK type, so confirm the plug fitting for BS 1363 (Type G) sockets when you request your quotation, and ask the installer to check the wall socket position before mounting.

How do we mount an 86-inch panel weighing 58 kg on a wall in a Lusail office?

The panel weighs 58 kg and is 1958 mm wide, so the wall must be checked for load capacity and fixing before mounting. A free SmartRooms Qatar site survey looks at wall construction, sight lines and cable routes, and installation is carried out by professional installers. Mounting hardware is not listed among the included accessories for this model, so confirm the mounting components in your quotation.

Can it charge a mobile device while it is in use?

Yes. A USB-C connection supports Power Delivery at 65 W. The manufacturer describes using this to charge a mobile device while the same connection lets that device control the display. In a meeting in West Bay, a presenter can plug in a tablet, share its screen wirelessly and keep the battery charged for the whole session.

Will the microphones pick up speakers at the back of a lecture hall?

The 8-microphone array has a sound capture radius of 8 m and supports 180-degree voice capture, which suits a lecture hall or seminar room of that scale. The 2.1 audio system uses two 20 W speakers and a 20 W subwoofer. For an Education City lecture room with long rows of seats, test the sight line and speaker position during the site survey, because very large halls may need a different audio plan.

Can it be placed near windows in Qatar's summer heat?

The data we hold for this model does not give an operating temperature range, so we cannot confirm a limit here. Temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C in summer, and dust storms are common. Keep the panel out of direct sunlight and away from glass, use an air-conditioned room, and confirm the exact environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before placing the panel in a lobby or window-facing room.

What is included in the box?

The package includes a remote control, six writing pens, a USB cable, an HDMI cable, an EU/UK power cable, a quick start guide and a warranty card. The manufacturer's warranty term for this model is 36 months. Check cables and accessories against your room layout when you request a quote, especially the power cable plug for Qatar sockets and any extra HDMI runs.

How do schools and government buyers order several units?

Request a quote with the number of units, room types and any mounting needs. SmartRooms Qatar usually issues quotations within one working day. Schools and government bodies can order against a purchase order or LPO, and tender purchases through Monaqasat are supported. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. One quotation covering all rooms keeps models and installation scope consistent across a school in Al Khor or several ministry meeting rooms.
