The SBM777V-43 is a 77-inch interactive whiteboard in 4:3 format, designed for wall-mounted front projection with a separate projector. It recognises up to 20 simultaneous touches for two users and tells a finger, palm, eraser and pen apart automatically. SMART Notebook is included with no subscription required. It suits classrooms and training rooms in Doha and across Qatar where a projector-based setup is in place or planned.
A 77-inch 4:3 board for projector-based rooms
The SBM777V-43 is a wall-mounted interactive whiteboard built for front projection. Its 77-inch diagonal gives a projection area of 61 5/8 by 46 1/4 inches (156.5 cm by 117.4 cm) in a 4:3 format, which suits rooms where a projector sits in front of the board and throws the computer image onto the surface. The projector and computer are not part of the package, so plan both alongside the board.
Each unit ships with a 5 m USB cable, two passive pens, a pen ledge, installation instructions and an important information document. The V edition replaces the active pen tray found on the standard M777-43 with a pen ledge 19 1/2 inches (49.6 cm) wide, and the board is 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) deep rather than 5 3/8 inches.
Touch input that tells a pen, finger and palm apart
Advanced infrared touch with Object Awareness recognises a pen, a finger, an eraser and a palm without switching modes. The board handles up to 20 simultaneous touches for up to two users, so two people can write, erase, move objects or use gestures at once. Digitizing resolution is approximately 32,767 by 32,767. The hard-coated steel surface is optimised for projection and accepts dry-erase markers, which helps when a lesson needs quick notes written directly on the board.
