What the 7550-5F is and who it suits

The ViewSonic ViewBoard 7550-5F is a 75-inch interactive display built around a 4K UHD IPS panel at 3840 x 2160. With 350 nits typical brightness, 1200:1 typical contrast and 5000:1 dynamic contrast, it holds detail in rooms with ceiling lighting. The 8ms response time and 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles keep text readable from the back of a room. The anti-glare coating and 7H surface hardness suit rooms that see daily use.

The panel is a good fit for a mid-sized classroom, a corporate training room or a meeting room in Doha where a 75-inch screen is the right scale. Its 1709 x 1020 x 86 mm footprint and 53.4 kg net weight mean it should be mounted by a trained team, with at least two people handling the unit.

Touch, writing and multi-user input

Touch uses infrared recognition with a touch resolution of 32768 x 32768. On Windows it accepts up to 40 touch points, and on the Android system up to 20, so several students or staff can write at the same time. Two touch pens and a touch USB cable are included in the box.

The myViewBoard whiteboard software provides annotation tools for teaching and meetings. myViewBoard Manager adds remote device control and multimedia broadcast, which helps IT teams that look after more than one panel.

The Android 11 system runs on an octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 64GB storage, and it can be upgraded to Android 13. Wireless sharing works through the vCast and myViewBoard Display app, and the source also lists AirPlay and Chromecast support. The ViewSonic Launcher offers split-screen and picture-in-picture modes.
