A 55-inch 4K panel for rooms that share one screen
The ViewSonic IFP5551 is a 55-inch interactive flat panel with a UHD 3840x2160 display in landscape orientation. It is built for classrooms, training rooms and meeting rooms where a small group writes, annotates and shares content from a single screen. The panel is rated at 400 nits typical brightness and 1200:1 typical contrast, with a 6.5ms response time and a 9H hardness surface treated for anti-glare and anti-fingerprint performance.
Touch, annotation and sign-in
Touch uses infrared recognition with 50 touch points and palm rejection, so a presenter can rest a hand on the glass while writing. Write Away starts annotation straight from the pen sensor without opening an application first. Users can sign in with NFC or SSO, which brings up their personal settings and the launcher on the panel.
Platform, audio and connectivity
The IFP5551 runs Android 16 and is EDLA-certified, giving secure access to Google Play apps. Its octa-core processor is paired with 16GB RAM and 128GB storage. Bundled software includes myViewBoard for Android and Windows, AirSync for wireless casting, and Manager for remote device management.
Four HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort, one VGA input and an RS232 port cover most source devices and control systems. Three USB-C ports with USB 3.2 Gen 1 provide power delivery of 65W at the front and 15W at the rear and top, which helps keep cables tidy. Two RJ45 ports provide wired LAN, and an OPS slot takes a compatible slot-in PC from a list of four models: VPCF5-W33-G1, VPC37-W53-G1, VPC35-W53-G1 and VPC-A31-O1.
The speaker system combines two 25W front soundbars and a 20W subwoofer for a 70W total output, with an 8-microphone array built in. That makes it practical for a meeting room where a remote team needs to hear everyone in the room.
