What the IFP6533 is built for

The ViewSonic IFP6533 is a 65-inch interactive flat panel for teaching and collaboration. It pairs a 4K UHD IPS screen with a 40-point touch layer, so teachers, students and meeting participants can write and annotate directly on the glass. At 1488 x 897 x 88 mm and 34.95 kg net, it is a fixed wall-mounted display rather than a portable one.

Screen, touch and writing performance

The panel delivers 3840 x 2160 pixels, 1.07 billion colours and 400 nits of rated brightness. Contrast is rated at 5000:1 with DCR enabled, a maximum figure rather than a typical one. The 9H anti-glare coating reduces reflections from windows and ceiling lights, which matters in rooms with large glazing. Response time is 8 ms, viewing angles are rated at 178 degrees, and backlight life is rated at 50,000 hours minimum. Two touch pens are included.

Connectivity, software and audio

The front USB-C port provides 65W Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.2 video, USB 2.0 data and 10/100M network sharing, so a laptop with USB-C video output can connect through one cable. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs support 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, alongside VGA, RS-232 control and two RJ45 LAN ports. An optional Intel standard OPS computer fits the OPS slot, and compatible slot-in PCs include the VPC2-O series, VPC2-O-1B series and VPC12-WPO-15/16. Wi-Fi is available through an optional module. The panel runs Android 11 on a quad-core ARM Cortex processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, with myViewBoard Whiteboard, myViewBoard Display and Viewboard Cast preinstalled. Two 16 W front speakers handle audio.
