What the IFP65G1 is and how it is built

The ViewSonic IFP65G1 is a 65-inch interactive display with a 3840 x 2160 UHD panel in a 16:9 landscape format. The panel uses DLED backlighting and an anti-glare surface with 9H hardness, which keeps reflections manageable in rooms with windows or bright ceiling lights. Typical brightness is 400 nits and typical contrast is 5000:1, rising to 6000:1 with dynamic contrast.

The display runs no operating system of its own. Instead, an OPS slot accepts a slot-in PC, so the organisation chooses the software environment, whether Windows, Linux, Google EDLA or a Chromebox OPS module. The package contents do not include a slot-in PC, so the computer module should be listed as a separate item in your order.

Connectivity and the touch experience

The USB-C port is the main point for daily use. It carries DisplayPort 1.2 video, touch, data sharing and 10M/100M Ethernet, and it can deliver up to 65W of power to a laptop. A presenter connects one cable, charges the device and writes on the screen while the laptop stays in use. The inputs also include three HDMI 2.0 ports, a VGA port, audio input, RS232 and LAN, with USB 3.0 ports on the front and rear. The touch uses infrared recognition and supports 40 touch points on Windows and 20 on Android. The Works With Chromebook certification applies to the ViewBoard IFPG1 series with the Chromebox OPS, which matters for Google Workspace classrooms.

Power is straightforward. The input is rated 100-240 VAC with a wide range tolerance, which covers Qatar's 240 V mains supply. Typical consumption is 103.8 W when on and below 0.5 W in off mode.
