ViewSonic VPC12-WPO-7 Slot-in PC for ViewBoard Interactive Displays
- Screen size
- 202*117*28.7
The ViewSonic VPC12-WPO-7 is an OPS slot-in PC for ViewBoard interactive displays, so the computer sits inside the display, not on a separate desk. It combines an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB DDR4 memory and a 128GB SSD with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and one 4K2K HDMI output. It suits schools and boardrooms in Qatar wanting a tidy setup.
An OPS computer that lives inside the display
The VPC12-WPO-7 is an OPS slot-in PC designed for ViewBoard interactive displays. Instead of running a separate desktop beside the panel, you fit this module into a compatible display, so the computer, its ports and its wireless link sit within the display itself. For a teacher or presenter, that means one unit to switch on, fewer cables on the desk and no tower to hide.
Processor, memory and storage
The module uses an Intel Core i5-7200U series processor specified at up to 3.1GHz, with integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. It carries 8GB of DDR4 DIMM memory and a 128GB SSD. That is a sound setup for presentations, browser-based lessons, cloud collaboration tools and video calls. It is a fixed configuration, though, so keep large files on cloud services or network storage rather than the local drive.
- One HDMI output, listed at 4K2K
- One RJ45 LAN port
- Two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports
- One microphone input
- Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
- Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE support
Where it fits in Qatar
A boardroom in West Bay or Lusail. Meetings that connect Doha with colleagues abroad depend on a stable link. The RJ45 port gives a wired connection for the room, while the dual-band wireless adapter covers spaces where cabling is impractical.
A classroom in Education City or an Arabic-curriculum school in Al Wakrah. New classrooms need quick, identical setups. With the computer housed in the display, staff have one set of connections to learn and fewer devices to maintain on every desk.
An office in The Pearl or Msheireb working in Arabic and English. Presenting bilingual documents from one screen calls for reliable software. Confirm your team's software needs before ordering, as the source data does not list an operating system.
What to plan before you order
- Confirm the OPS slot matches your ViewBoard display model
- Check the listed dimensions of 202 x 117 x 28.7 (W x H x D) against the bay, as the unit is not clear in the source
- Confirm the operating environment, because no temperature range is listed and Qatar summers exceed 45°C
- Ask for power and operating system details, which the source data does not state
