MeetingPoint
Snom MeetingPoint Audio Conference Phone (Discontinued Model)
The Snom MeetingPoint is a conference phone from Snom's C-Series audio conference devices, built for meeting rooms where several people join one voice call. Snom has discontinued this model. It suits organisations that already own it, buyers comparing it with newer options, and teams in Qatar that need a current replacement. Request a quote.
What the Snom MeetingPoint is
The Snom MeetingPoint is a conference phone in the Snom Audio Conference Devices (C-Series) range, listed under Video Conferencing and Conference Phones. It is a tabletop audio device for meeting rooms, where a group needs to take part in a call from one central point rather than through individual handsets or laptops.
Discontinued status and what it means for buyers
Snom has discontinued the MeetingPoint, so new units may not be available from the manufacturer. Organisations that already run this model can still use it, but they should plan ahead for spares, replacement and compatibility with their current call platform. Buyers comparing audio conference devices should treat this page as a reference for the model rather than a route to a new purchase.
Where it fits in Qatar meeting rooms
A government office in Msheireb with a mid-sized meeting room may already have a conference phone of this type in place and need a like-for-like replacement when it fails. A training centre in Education City setting up a seminar room for remote lecturers could compare it with newer conference devices. A company in the Industrial Area coordinating with teams abroad may want a single audio unit at the centre of the table.
What to plan for before you choose
Confirm which calling platform and PBX your organisation uses before ordering, because compatibility depends on the system in place. Measure the room and check where the device will sit relative to the people who speak most, so that everyone can be heard clearly. For a government tender or a purchase order from a school or company, prepare the quantity, room list and platform details in advance.
