Overview

The Yealink MeetingBar A25 is an all-in-one video bar sized for focus and huddle rooms of up to five people. Three cameras give a 151° horizontal field of view with telephoto close-ups, while eight MEMS microphones with a 5-metre pickup range handle full-duplex audio. It is offered as a Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android edition or a Zoom Rooms Appliances edition, and suits small meeting rooms in Doha, West Bay and Lusail.

What the MeetingBar A25 is

The Yealink MeetingBar A25 places a camera, microphone array, loudspeaker and video processing into one bar for small meeting spaces. It is offered in two platform editions: Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and Zoom Rooms Appliances. Yealink rates it for focus and huddle rooms with two to five people, and it sits below the A40 and A50 in capacity within the MeetingBar series.

Camera coverage for compact rooms

Three 4K cameras with 8MP sensors make up the system. The ultra-wide lens provides a 151° horizontal field of view, which helps when people sit close to a wall or along a curved table, while two telephoto lenses deliver close-up portraits for remote viewers. Video output reaches 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps. An electric lens cap offers a physical privacy option, and features such as IntelliFocus, Auto Framing and Speaker Tracking keep the remote view on whoever is speaking.

Audio built for voices in a small room

Eight MEMS microphones pick up speech up to 5 metres away, with a high-quality pickup distance of 3.5 metres. Full-duplex operation with acoustic echo cancellation lets people talk at the same time without cutting each other out, and AI-enhanced noise suppression reduces background sound. The built-in 10W speaker faces forward, and a 3.5mm line-out port supports external audio connections. Expansion microphones are not supported, so the built-in array has to cover the whole room.

Cabling, ports and connectivity

In the A25-031 kit, the bar links to the CTP25 touch console with a single Cat5e cable that carries power and network, and a single USB-C cable from the console to a PC handles 4K sharing, BYOD and charging. The bar also includes:

Installation and room conditions

A wall mount is included. Optional mounts include the VB-TVMount-01, VCS-TVMount-02 and TV-Clip mount for displays, and the VB-TabletopMount-01 for a desk. The bar measures 570 x 80 x 65 mm. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C with 10 to 95% humidity, and it can be stored from -30°C to 70°C. Heat output is rated at 38 BTU/hr idle and 58 BTU/hr during meetings, which should be included in the room's cooling plan. In Doha summers, keep the bar in an air-conditioned room away from direct sun through windows, and confirm the environment during a free site survey before fixing anything to a wall.

Who is the MeetingBar A25 designed for?

Yealink positions the A25 for focus and huddle rooms with two to five people. It suits a four-person huddle room in a West Bay ministry department or a small meeting room in a Doha company office. Its 151° ultra-wide lens covers people seated close together along one side of the table, which makes it practical where space and setup time are limited.

How does the A25 compare with the A40 and A50?

Within the same series, the A40 supports up to 12 people with a 110° horizontal field of view and a 6-metre pickup range. The A50 supports up to 16 people with 98° and a 10-metre pickup range. The A25 has the widest field of view of the three at 151°, so it is the right choice for a focus room of up to five people rather than a larger boardroom.

Should we choose the Teams or Zoom edition?

Choose the Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android edition if your organisation schedules meetings in Teams, or the Zoom Rooms Appliances edition if it runs Zoom. Can the A25 join meetings on Webex or other apps?

Yes, through BYOD mode. Connect a laptop to the A25, open the third-party application such as Cisco Webex, and select the A25 as the audio and video device. In BYOD mode the video output is listed at up to 1080p30fps, so it suits a single participant laptop in a small room.

Does the A25 reduce background noise during calls?

Yes. AI-enhanced noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control and full-duplex audio all run on the bar. Eight MEMS microphones pick up speech up to 5 metres away, with high-quality pickup to 3.5 metres. Hard surfaces and room layout still affect sound, so review the seating plan during the site survey.

Can we add extra microphones for a bigger room?

No. Expansion microphones are not supported, so the built-in array must cover the whole room. If your room seats more than five people or speakers regularly sit beyond about 5 metres, consider the MeetingBar A40 or A50, which the comparison table lists with support for extended microphones.

What is included in the box?

The A25-010 kit includes the MeetingBar A25, a VCR11 and a 1.8m USB-C to C cable.
