55SH7DB

A 55-inch signage panel built for portrait and video wall layouts

The LG 55SH7DB pairs a 1,920 x 1,080 Full HD panel with a 700 cd/m² brightness rating. The screen measures 54.64 inches (1387.80 mm) diagonally, and the head weighs 27.0 kg. Its 7.4 mm bezel is even on the top, bottom, left and right, so tiled panels show a narrow, consistent seam, and the cabinet is only 3.2 cm deep, which keeps the profile slim on the wall.

LG has discontinued this model. Organisations that already run this display, or buyers comparing it with newer models, can request a quote. SmartRooms Qatar will confirm what matching units or a current equivalent with a similar size, brightness and mounting can be supplied, and the specifications on this page serve as the baseline for that comparison.

Connectivity, media players and control

The input panel covers common sources in one unit, including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, analog RGB, audio and USB. It also provides a DisplayPort output, an audio output, an external speaker output for left and right channels and an RS232C output. Control options include RS232C on a phone jack, RJ45 and an IR receiver.

• OPS compatibility through the optional KT-OPSA kit, for a third-party OPS player or HDBaseT box
• External media player attachment with the MP500 or MP700
• SNMP support for network management
• Compatibility with SuperSign-w lite and SuperSign-c software
• Optional AN-WF500 Wi-Fi USB dongle for wireless content distribution

The SP-2100 external speaker and the KT-SP0 pixel sensor are optional accessories for this model. The basic package includes a remote controller with two batteries, a power cord, an RGB cable, an IR receiver and a quick start guide.

Where this 55-inch panel fits in Qatar

In a shopping mall in Lusail or West Bay, a portrait-mounted 55-inch panel can present a store directory or promotional column beside an entrance, where the slim bezel keeps the frame clean. In a hospital or clinic reception in Doha, it can show wayfinding and appointment information. In a university lecture hall in Education City or a boardroom, several units arranged in a video wall can display schedules and shared content with narrow seams.

What to plan before ordering

Check the wall before choosing this display. The VESA mounting interface is 400 mm x 400 mm, and the head measures 123.0 cm x 71.4 cm x 3.2 cm. With a 27.0 kg head plus bracket, a free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar helps confirm fixing points, cable routing and clearance. Confirm the operating environment as well: the source data does not give an operating temperature range, so check the location with the team before installing near windows or in semi-exposed areas, where Qatar summer heat above 45°C and dust storms are a concern. Conformal coating protects the circuit boards against dust, iron powder and humidity, but it does not replace a suitable environment.

Purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat, are accepted, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send a quote request with the quantity, mounting type and media source. SmartRooms Qatar usually issues a quotation within one working day and will suggest a current equivalent if this model is no longer available for your project.
