LG Business Cloud
LG Business Cloud Digital Signage Management Software
LG Business Cloud is a cloud portal for managing LG digital signage. It bundles content creation and distribution (SuperSign Cloud), remote monitoring and control of registered displays, a DOOH ad platform, a hotel management module and the CreateBoard Lab writing service. Device control requires webOS 6.0 or later. Suited to Qatar organisations running several LG screens across sites, from retail and hospitality to schools.
What LG Business Cloud manages
LG Business Cloud is a cloud-based software environment for organisations that run LG signage. It is not a display itself. It is the online layer where you create content, send it to screens, watch connected devices and manage the licences that switch each module on. SmartRooms Qatar quotes these licences based on the number of displays and modules you need.
The modules and what each one does
- SuperSign Cloud: create content with flexible editing tools and distribute it to your displays.
- ConnectedCare: monitor and manage the operation of LG signage displays from one place.
- ConnectedCare DMS: control and check the status of LG CreateBoard and signage displays remotely.
- DOOH Ads: a digital out-of-home platform for managing advertising media.
- Pro:Centric Cloud: cloud hotel management with integrated operations.
- CreateBoard Lab: a collaborative writing service for use with LG CreateBoard.
Device control and what to check first
Once a signage display is registered in the portal, you can power it on or off, reboot it and view basic details such as device type, model name and serial number. This function applies to devices running webOS 6.0 or later, so confirm the operating system version on each screen before installation starts. Because the platform runs in the cloud, every registered display must be able to reach the internet.
Where it fits in Qatar
A hotel in West Bay with several screens in its lobby and restaurants can use the hotel management module alongside display control, so reception and facilities staff work from one system. A shopping mall in Lusail that sells advertising space can organise its media across screens with the DOOH module. A university campus in Education City with screens in several buildings can monitor each display centrally rather than visiting each one. A school in Al Wakrah can update announcements across the whole building from the office using SuperSign Cloud.
Licences, trials and planning
Solutions are licensed by quantity, type, grade and duration, so the quotation depends on how many displays and which modules you need. The portal also provides manuals, brochures, tutorial videos and use-case pages. The manufacturer notes that trial licence numbers and periods vary by country, so ask the SmartRooms Qatar team whether a trial can be arranged for your site before you commit. Before ordering, list every display with its model and operating system, and the modules each site needs. Our team can review that list during a free site survey and send a quotation, usually within one working day. We accept bank transfer, cheque and purchase orders, including LPOs and government tenders. Request a quote for LG Business Cloud licences and we will confirm the licence mix that suits your displays.
