INY21
BenQ INY21 NFC Card for BenQ Interactive Displays
The BenQ INY21 is an NFC card that signs a user into their BenQ AMS account on compatible BenQ interactive displays. One tap loads that person's settings and gives access to Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox files, with no typed credentials. It is rated IP86 for water resistance and is listed for eight BenQ CP and RP display models. It suits Qatari schools and offices where one panel serves several users.
How the INY21 removes typing from a shared panel
The INY21 is a credit-card-sized NFC card that signs a user into their BenQ AMS account on a compatible BenQ interactive display. Once the card is tapped on the reader, the panel loads that person's settings, documents and links to cloud storage, so the first minutes of a lesson or meeting are not spent on passwords or configuration.
Specifications to check before you order
- Protocol: ISO/IEC 14443-1A
- Water resistance: IP86
- Dimensions: 85 × 54 × 0.76 mm (3.35 × 2.12 × 0.03 in)
- Cloud services: Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox, reached through an AMS account
The compatibility list names eight displays: CP6501K, CP8601K, RP6501K, RP6502, RP7501K, RP7502, RP8601K and RP8602. Check the exact model of each screen against this list before buying.
Where the card fits in Qatar
A private school in Al Wakrah or Al Sadd fitting out classrooms with compatible panels can issue one card per teacher. Lesson files then follow each teacher from room to room, instead of being copied onto every screen.
In a ministry, bank or company meeting room in Doha, West Bay or Lusail, several departments often share one panel all day. Each person taps their own card and opens their own cloud files, with no handover of login details between meetings.
Hotel business centres and bank customer halls can also benefit, since the card avoids typing credentials on a shared screen. Because the card opens personal files, issue it only to named staff and collect it when someone leaves.
What to plan for
The manufacturer's specification lists a quantity of 200 units and directs smaller orders to a quotation. Count the staff and teachers who need a card, then request a quote for that number, since the card is tied to a user's AMS account rather than to a panel.
The source data does not give an operating or storage temperature range for the card. Keep cards out of parked vehicles and direct sunlight, and confirm handling conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team before deploying them in sunlit or hot areas. Measure any holder or lanyard before ordering, because the specifications do not list accessories.
Send SmartRooms Qatar the panel models, the number of cards and whether your organisation needs a purchase order or LPO. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, so request a quote today.
