TPY22

What the TPY22 pen set includes

The BenQ TPY22 is a two-pen accessory for BenQ RM Series interactive displays. The set contains one fine-tip pen and one thick-tip pen, each supplied as a single unit in gray. Both pens are used directly on the touch surface of a compatible panel, so teachers, presenters and meeting participants can annotate content without a separate marker or eraser at the board.

Two tips, two stroke colors on one board

The main reason to choose this set over a single pen is dual-pen mode in EZWrite. When the feature is active, each tip is assigned a different stroke color according to its thickness, so the thick tip and fine tip produce visibly different ink. Two people working at the same board can see at a glance who contributed each note. Physically the pens are close in size: both measure 18 mm across, while the fine-tip pen is 171 mm long and weighs 24 g and the thick-tip pen is 165 mm long and weighs 26 g.

Built for long sessions without batteries

The barrels are triangular, which makes the pens easier to hold and gives the user more control when writing on the panel. The pens are light enough to feel similar to a whiteboard marker, which suits lessons and briefings that run for an hour or more. There is no battery and no charging, so a pen is never flat in the middle of a session. The pens are also water-resistant, which is useful in busy classrooms and staff rooms where drinks sit on desks and ledges.

Where the TPY22 fits in Qatar

Three situations show where a pen set makes sense:

• A primary school in Al Wakrah where a teacher and a learning support assistant share one RM board during a lesson, each using a different tip.
• A boardroom in West Bay where an executive team reviews a draft plan on a compatible display and marks changes in two colors.
• A ministry review room in Msheireb where two presenters annotate a shared document during a session, with notes that are easy to attribute afterwards.

Planning your order

Confirm the display model before you order. The TPY22 is listed for RM5502K, RM6502K, RM7502K, RM8602K, RM5501K, RM6501K, RM7501K, RM8601K, RM6502S, RM7502S and RM8602S. Decide how many sets you need by counting the rooms and the people who will write at the same time, since each set provides two pens. The product data does not list a holder or stand, so plan a storage spot next to the display. Quantities can be grouped on one purchase order or LPO when several rooms are being fitted out at once, and SmartRooms Qatar delivers to all 8 municipalities of Qatar.

Send your RM model numbers and quantities to SmartRooms Qatar and request a quote. Quotations are usually returned within one working day.
