The LG Createboard 75TR3DJ is a 75-inch UHD interactive digital board with IR multi-touch for up to 20 simultaneous points, a built-in OPS slot and Android 8 with a web browser. Its IPS panel and 1,200:1 contrast suit lecture halls and meeting rooms. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so schools and offices needing a current equivalent or a compatible replacement should request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar.
What the LG Createboard 75TR3DJ is
The LG Createboard 75TR3DJ is a 75-inch interactive digital board built around an IR touch frame and a UHD IPS panel. It belongs to the CreateBoard TR3DJ series and pairs a large display with an embedded Android environment, so teachers and presenters can annotate, browse and run lessons from the board itself. LG has discontinued this model, so this page is written for organisations that already own it, buyers comparing it with newer boards, and anyone looking for a replacement.
Display and touch figures that matter
The 3840 x 2160 panel carries four times the pixel count of Full HD, so small text in spreadsheets and detailed maps stays sharp at a close viewing distance. Its rated brightness is 390 nit without the protective glass, and the 4 mm anti-glare glass reduces reflections from ceiling lights, which matters in rooms with large windows. The board accepts up to 20 simultaneous touch points with typical accuracy of ±2.0 mm, and its two pens have 3 mm and 8 mm tips, so one person can write while another draws.
Connectivity, OPS and classroom tools
The built-in OPS slot powers an OPS module from the board, so a compatible computer can sit behind the display without a separate desktop on the floor. The panel offers three HDMI inputs, three USB 3.0 Type A ports, three USB 2.0 Type A ports, a gigabit LAN port, RS232C control and two USB Type B touch connections. Air Class lets up to 30 students join from their own devices on the same network for voting and short answers, while ScreenShare Pro shows up to six shared screens at once.
Where it fits in Qatar
This model suits several real settings across the country:
- A university lecture room in Education City, where students contribute from their own devices through Air Class.
- A government ministry meeting room in Msheireb, where USB Block Mode helps reduce the risk of files being copied to unauthorised devices.
- A training centre in the Industrial Area that teaches in Arabic and English and uses Bluetooth to connect speakers, keyboards and mice in hybrid sessions.
What to plan before ordering
The head weighs 53.1 kg and the packed weight is 68.1 kg, with a VESA mounting pattern of 800 x 400 mm. Wall mounting needs a structural check, so SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey before installation. The room should be air-conditioned: the rated operating range is 0 to 40 °C at 10 to 80 percent humidity, and outdoor temperatures in Qatar in summer can exceed 45 °C. The power input is 100 to 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with typical consumption of 260 W and a maximum of 350 W. The basic package includes a power cord, USB and HDMI cables, two pens, a remote controller with batteries and a Wi-Fi module. An OPS module is not listed among the accessories.
Request a quotation
Because this model is discontinued, the fastest route is a quotation for a current equivalent or compatible replacement. Send your room dimensions, the wall you plan to mount on and the connections you need. SmartRooms Qatar delivers to all eight municipalities, provides professional installation, and accepts purchase orders and government tenders. Request a quotation today and receive a response, usually within one working day.
