Name: LG CreateBoard 75TR3PJ 75-inch UHD Touch Interactive Digital Board
Brand: LG
SKU: lg-75tr3pj
Availability: Discontinued

Overview

The LG 75TR3PJ is a 75-inch UHD interactive digital board with 20-point multi-touch, a 3,840 × 2,160 IPS panel, Android 9.0 and a built-in OPS slot for a PC module. LG has discontinued this model, so SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. It suits classrooms and meeting rooms in Doha, Lusail and Education City that need a large touch board with apps built in.

What the LG 75TR3PJ is and who still needs it

The LG 75TR3PJ is a 75-inch interactive digital board from the CreateBoard TR3PJ series. It pairs a UHD IPS touch display with an Android 9.0 platform, so presenters can annotate, browse the web and open files without a separate laptop for everyday tasks. LG has discontinued this model. The information below is written for organisations that already run it, for buyers comparing it with newer boards, and for anyone who needs a like-for-like replacement.

Touch, writing and group work

The touch layer registers up to 20 simultaneous points, with an accuracy of plus or minus 1 mm and detection of objects as small as Ø3 mm. Several people can write or annotate at the same time, which suits group problem-solving in classrooms and brainstorming in boardrooms. Touch works with Windows 7, 8 and 10, Android, Linux and Mac, while Windows XP, Linux and Mac support single-point touch only. The protective glass is a 4T anti-glare layer with 87% light transmission. Air Class lets up to 30 students join a lesson from their own browser-enabled devices to vote, answer questions and share project text. The Un-do and Re-do functions in annotation mode make corrections quicker during a live lesson.

Connectivity, OPS slot and power

The inputs include three HDMI ports with HDCP 2.2/1.4 support, a USB-C port with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, RS232C, a LAN port, and USB 3.0 ports. The built-in OPS slot accepts an OPS desktop module, which receives power from the board, so a PC can sit behind the panel and keep cables out of the room. Wireless connectivity covers 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 for speakers, mice and keyboards, and Gigabit LAN. The board has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Its power supply is rated for 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V mains. Typical consumption is 280 W and maximum consumption is 500 W.

Where it fits in Qatar

Classrooms in private and international schools, such as a school in Lusail fitting out a science room, where Air Class can connect up to 30 students.
Meeting rooms in West Bay and Msheireb, where HDMI and USB-C let visiting teams share laptop screens while Secure Mode and USB Block are enabled.
Training rooms at universities and training centres in Education City, where presenters run web content and video directly from the board.

What to plan before ordering

The head weighs 52.2 kg and the packed weight is 64.70 kg, so the wall bracket or mobile stand must be rated for that load and two people should handle installation. The monitor measures 1710 × 1020 × 87 mm and the VESA pattern is 800 × 400. The operating range is 0 to 40 °C with 10 to 90% relative humidity, so the board should sit in an air-conditioned room. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45 °C, so confirm the room's cooling before installation. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, which are useful for checking wall structure, cable routes and the space needed behind the panel. ConnectedCare remote management is an optional LG cloud service, and its availability depends on region, so ask our team whether it can be arranged for your site.

Because this model is discontinued, request a quote and SmartRooms Qatar will recommend a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. Send the room size, mounting plan and number of units, and our team will reply with a quotation usually within one working day. Schools and government buyers can issue an LPO or follow a tender process.

Questions about 75TR3PJ

What is the LG 75TR3PJ and who is it for?

The LG 75TR3PJ is a 75-inch UHD interactive digital board that combines a touch display, an Android 9.0 platform and writing tools in one unit. It suits schools, universities and corporate meeting rooms in Qatar that want a large board for teaching or presenting without a separate computer. Because LG has discontinued the model, it is also relevant to organisations that already own one and need a like-for-like replacement.

Has LG discontinued the 75TR3PJ, and what should I buy instead?

Yes, LG has discontinued the 75TR3PJ. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent interactive board of similar size, or a compatible replacement that fits your existing mounting, OPS and software needs. Send us the room size, current software and the number of units, and our team will return a quotation usually within one working day.

How many touch points does the 75TR3PJ support?

The panel accepts up to 20 simultaneous touch points, so several people can write or annotate at once. Touch accuracy is rated at plus or minus 1 mm, and objects as small as Ø3 mm are detected. Touch works with Windows 7, 8 and 10, Android, Linux and Mac, although Windows XP, Linux and Mac support single-point touch only. This helps with group problem-solving in classrooms and brainstorming in boardrooms.

Can I mount a PC inside the board using the OPS slot?

Yes. The 75TR3PJ has a built-in OPS slot that accepts an OPS desktop module, and the board supplies power to the module internally. The module sits at the back of the display, which keeps cables tidy in a classroom. Confirm the module type with your IT team before ordering, and ask SmartRooms Qatar to check that your chosen OPS PC is suitable for this slot.

Does the board run Android, and can teachers browse the web without a laptop?

The 75TR3PJ runs webOS with Android 9.0, has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, and includes a web browser. Staff can search and open web pages directly on the panel, which removes the need for a laptop for short tasks. Web browsing needs a network connection, which the board supports through Gigabit LAN and built-in 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.

Can up to 30 students join a lesson from their own devices?

Yes. Air Class supports up to 30 students who connect with mobile devices that have a web browser. Students can take part in voting, answer questions and share project text during the lesson. ScreenShare Pro is a separate Wi-Fi based application that lets the board show up to six shared screens in real time when all devices are on the same network. Check Wi-Fi coverage in the classroom before installation.

Will the 75TR3PJ work on Qatar's 240 V mains supply?

The power supply is rated for 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. Typical consumption is 280 W and maximum consumption is 500 W, so plan the circuit for the maximum figure. Power-off draw is 0.5 W or less, and the DPM function turns the display on only when an input signal is present. Ask your electrician to confirm the socket outlet, since Qatar uses BS 1363 Type G sockets.

Can the board be installed in a hot room, a lobby near windows or outdoors in Qatar?

The operating range is 0 to 40 °C with 10 to 90% relative humidity, and the source data gives no outdoor rating. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45 °C, so install the board in an air-conditioned room that stays within its range, away from direct sunlight and dusty window areas. For a hotel lobby or a showroom with glass walls, confirm cooling and sun control with the installer before fixing the unit.

How heavy is the panel, and what should I check before wall mounting?

The head weighs 52.2 kg and the packed weight is 64.70 kg, so the bracket or stand must be rated for that load and two people should handle the lift. The monitor measures 1710 × 1020 × 87 mm and uses an 800 × 400 VESA pattern. Check the wall structure, the bracket load rating and the clearance for the OPS slot and cables. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, so ask our team to check the wall before ordering the bracket.

Is the 75TR3PJ suitable for a new classroom in Lusail or The Pearl?

It suits a 75-inch classroom where a large display helps students at the back of the room. The 12 W x 2 speakers, Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting speakers and keyboards, and Air Class cover most lesson needs. Schools often order several boards at once, so a purchase order can cover the full set. State the number of units and planned wall positions in your quotation request.

Can the board be used for confidential government or corporate meetings in Doha?

The board includes Secure Mode, which disables screen mirroring through the Screen Share Pro application, and USB Block Mode, which helps stop data being copied to unauthorised USB devices. These settings suit meeting rooms in government offices, banks and corporate headquarters in West Bay. They reduce risk but do not replace your own IT policy, so configure them with your IT team. Purchases can be made by LPO or through a government tender.
