Hubware H5 55

What the Hubware H5 55 is

The OneScreen Hubware H5 55 is a 55-inch interactive display that brings a 4K touch panel, an Intel-based OPS computer slot and a PTZ camera into one unit. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so it is no longer part of the current range. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement for organisations that need a similar setup.

Display and touch performance

The panel uses an original LG IPS LED screen with 3840 by 2160 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Its 400 cd/m² brightness and 178° viewing angle keep content readable from across a room, and it supports 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit depth. The 20-point infrared touch, rated at 2mm accuracy with a response time under 8ms, accepts finger or stylus input. The anti-glare glass carries an 8 Mohs surface rating, which helps where window glare is a concern.

Built-in computer, camera and audio

The OPS slot holds an Intel i7 7th Gen PC with 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and Windows 10 Pro. Separately, an Android 6 system runs on a quad-core A53 1.5GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 1080p PTZ camera offers 12x optical zoom, 60fps, a 72.5° wide-angle lens and 170° rotation. A speakerphone with adaptive array microphones covers a 15 ft range and includes a 6W speaker, while the built-in Dolby stereo speakers are rated 15W+15W.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Ministry or authority meeting room: a 55-inch panel suits a compact boardroom in Doha where a team connects with colleagues abroad, and the PTZ camera keeps the current speaker in frame.
• Classroom or training room: a school in Al Wakrah or a training centre in Education City can use the touch surface for lessons and the OPS PC for Windows-based teaching software.
• Executive or huddle space: a company in West Bay or Lusail can run short stand-up meetings and share Arabic and English documents from a laptop over HDMI.

What to plan before ordering

The display measures 50.6 by 31.5 by 3.6 inches and weighs 108 lbs, about 49 kg, so the wall structure and fixing points should be checked first. The package includes a flush wall mount for VESA 400x400 patterns. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys before wall mounting, which confirm wall type, cable routes and power points. The box includes HDMI, touch USB, VGA and AUX cables, a power cable, two styluses, an extendable wand and remote controls for the display and the camera. The stated power input is 100-240V, 50/60 Hz. Hype and Swap include 1-year subscriptions with 50 licences each, while Annotate and Navigate use perpetual licences.
