65SOA25PT

A 65-inch sealed outdoor display, now discontinued

Discontinued model. Hisense has discontinued the 65SOA25PT. Organisations that already own one, and buyers comparing outdoor kiosks, can use these specifications as a benchmark when looking for a replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement.

The 65SOA25PT is a floor-standing, portrait-oriented 65-inch UHD display in a sealed, air-conditioned cabinet. The manufacturer rates it for full outdoor working environments and round-the-clock operation, which makes it a kiosk-style display for open areas rather than an indoor screen.

Screen performance in daylight and public areas

The 2500-nit screen is the figure that matters when a display sits in sunlight. A light sensor adjusts brightness automatically as conditions change. The UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 on a 16:9 panel with a 1428 x 804 mm active area gives sharp maps, menus and video. Contrast is rated at 1200:1, viewing angles at 178 degrees horizontally and vertically, response time at 8 ms, and backlight life at 50,000 hours.

An optional touch foil adds 10-point touch with a response time of 10 ms or less, turning the screen into a self-service or wayfinding kiosk. Touch is not fitted as standard, so confirm it in your quotation.

Sealed, air-conditioned cabinet built for Qatar's climate

The IP65 rating covers protection against dust and water projection. A built-in air conditioner, overheating protection and an intelligent heating and cooling system keep internal temperatures in range, and the manufacturer states that no filter maintenance is required. The rated ambient range of -40°C to 55°C, with 5% to 95% humidity, sits above the 45°C summer highs seen across Qatar. The front glass is 6.8 mm laminated, tempered and anti-reflective, the body is galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish, and the front door locks with a three-point anti-theft mechanism behind hidden screws and hinges.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Retail forecourt in Lusail or West Bay: a portrait directory beside an entrance, readable in midday light and protected from dust.
• Hospital or clinic car park in Doha: a visitor totem pointing people to departments and drop-off points, with a locked front door in a public space.
• Industrial gate in the Industrial Area or Mesaieed: a weatherproof board for site rules, safety notices and shift information.
• University campus in Education City: an outdoor directory for students and visitors, connected by Wi-Fi or LAN.

Planning the installation and power

At 230 kg net and 2350 mm high, this is a heavy floor-standing unit. Plan the base, the floor load, the lifting route and the cable entry before delivery. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey, which is the right step before fixing a totem to a plinth or paved area.

The source data lists 110/220 V, 50/60 Hz, a built-in power supply and a maximum draw of 1200 W. Because Qatar's mains supply is 240 V, confirm the supply arrangement with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi or LAN, two HDMI inputs, USB 2.0, a TF card slot and RS232, with optional 3G/4G. The Android 7.1 system has 16 GB of storage, expandable to 128 GB.

Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders are supported, including Monaqasat. Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. To request a quote for a current replacement, send us your site location, the mounting type and the intended content.
