The Hisense 86SOA25PT is an 86-inch portrait display designed for full outdoor installation. It belongs to the SOA25PT air-conditioned series, which pairs a 2500-nit screen with an IP65-rated cabinet that stays sealed against dust and water jets while a built-in air conditioner keeps the interior cool. Because the enclosure is closed and cooled, the manufacturer notes that no filter maintenance is required, a practical advantage in a dusty climate.

Brightness and clarity in daylight

The panel offers UHD resolution at 3840 x 2160 in a 16:9 aspect ratio, with a 1,200:1 contrast ratio and 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. A light sensor adjusts brightness automatically as conditions change, so content stays readable through a bright morning and an evening alike. The backlight is rated for 50,000 hours, and the display is specified for 24/7 operation, which suits signage that must run all day.

Connectivity, playback and control

The unit runs Android 7.1 on an Amlogic quad-core processor at 1.5GHz, with 2GB DDR4 memory and 16GB eMMC storage that a TF card can extend up to 128GB. Inputs include two HDMI ports, one USB 2.0, one LAN, a TF card slot and one RS232 port. Outputs are one HDMI and one AV. Wi-Fi or LAN comes standard, and 3G/4G is optional. A built-in speaker is fitted, and the on-screen language options listed are Chinese and English.
