Brand: Biamp

Availability: Discontinued

Overview

The Biamp MRB-S-SCR10 is a discontinued meeting room bundle for huddle spaces and small conference rooms of up to six participants. It pairs a Devio SCR-10 conferencing hub with a Vidi 250 camera and runs with the PCs you already own, supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, BlueJeans and Google Meet. A 5-year warranty comes with the bundle. Owners and buyers can request a quote for a current equivalent.

What the Biamp MRB-S-SCR10 bundle includes

The Biamp MRB-S-SCR10 is a discontinued meeting room bundle, item number 930-10000-00001, designed for huddle spaces and small conference rooms that seat up to six participants. The kit combines one Devio SCR-10 conferencing hub with one Vidi 250 camera, so a suitable room needs only a display and a computer to start video calls. A 5-year warranty is included with the bundle.

Bring-your-own-device design for small rooms

Rather than a fixed, all-in-one video system, the bundle follows a bring-your-own-device approach. The hub works alongside PCs running the conferencing software your organisation already licenses, which keeps the room aligned with the platform your staff use every day. Key points:

Works with PCs running Microsoft Teams, Zoom, BlueJeans and Google Meet
Suited to computer-based conferencing across a range of room layouts
Designed for meetings of up to six participants
Covered by a 5-year warranty

Where it fits in Qatar

A private school in Al Wakrah converting a staff room into a small meeting space can use the bundle for parent and department meetings, with teachers joining from their own laptops. A bank branch in Msheireb that needs a compact room for client calls with a head office abroad is a second fit. A real estate sales office in Lusail hosting two or three buyers at a time can use one camera-equipped table for remote reviews. In each case the room needs a display, a PC and a network connection, which should be confirmed before ordering.

What to plan before ordering

Because this model is discontinued, confirm availability and the closest current equivalent with the SmartRooms Qatar team before committing. Check the camera model and kit contents in your quotation, because some manufacturer descriptions of this bundle do not match the Vidi 250 listed in its kit contents. Plan the camera position on a wall or shelf facing the seating area, and review network and display setup with your IT team. Quotations are usually issued within one working day, and a free site survey can be arranged before installation.

To check whether the MRB-S-SCR10 bundle or a current equivalent suits your room, request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar and include the room size, the number of participants and the conferencing platform you use.

Questions about MRB-S-SCR10

Is the Biamp MRB-S-SCR10 still sold new?

No. Biamp has discontinued the MRB-S-SCR10 bundle, so it is not a current product for new purchases. If your organisation already owns one, or you are comparing it with other huddle room kits, SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or compatible replacement that matches your room size and conferencing platform. Send your room details with the request and the team will confirm the closest option before you order.

What is included in the Biamp MRB-S-SCR10 bundle?

The bundle, item number 930-10000-00001, includes one Devio SCR-10 conferencing hub and one Vidi 250 camera. The Devio SCR-10 is the conferencing hub and the Vidi 250 is the camera. A 5-year warranty is included with the bundle. Computers, displays and cabling are not listed in the kit contents, so confirm what else your room needs when you request a quote.

Is this bundle right for a small meeting room in a government ministry in West Bay?

It can be, if the room seats no more than six participants and meetings are computer-based. The bundle is built for huddle spaces and small conference rooms, so a department room used for working sessions or short calls with colleagues fits its design. For a larger boardroom or hall, a bigger system would be a better match. Send the room dimensions and seating plan and the team will confirm whether this kit suits the space.

Which conferencing platforms does the MRB-S-SCR10 support?

The bundle is designed for computer-based conferencing and works with PCs running Microsoft Teams, Zoom, BlueJeans and Google Meet, along with other conferencing solutions. Because it follows a bring-your-own-device approach, the room uses the software installed on the computer rather than a built-in video system. Confirm the software versions and PC setup your IT team uses before ordering, especially if more than one platform is used in the same room.

Do I need to supply my own computer with the bundle?

Yes. The MRB-S-SCR10 is a bring-your-own-device bundle, and its kit contents list only the Devio SCR-10 hub and the Vidi 250 camera. The room PC runs the conferencing application, so you will need a computer your organisation can use for meetings. Share your PC specification when requesting a quote so the team can confirm compatibility with the hub and camera.

What warranty comes with the Biamp MRB-S-SCR10?

The bundle carries a 5-year warranty, as listed in the manufacturer data. Products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Because this model is discontinued, ask the team to confirm the warranty documents that apply to the units you buy, so your facilities or IT team has the correct paperwork on file before installation.

Would a private school in Al Wakrah use this bundle for a staff room?

A school converting a staff room or small office into a meeting space can use this bundle for parent meetings, department reviews and short calls with external partners. Teachers and administrators join from their own laptops or desktops, and the camera is positioned to frame the people seated in the room. Schools buying several rooms should request one quotation covering all units, and plan the display and network connection during quoting.

Could a bank branch in Msheireb use the MRB-S-SCR10 for client calls?

Yes, for a compact room where a few staff hold calls with a head office or corporate client. The bundle is designed for up to six participants and supports Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, which many banks already use. Because a bank's network security and software policies can affect how a computer connects, the platform and PC setup should be reviewed before ordering. Request a quote with the room size to start that check.

Would a Lusail real estate sales office benefit from this bundle?

A sales office hosting two or three buyers at a time can use the bundle for remote reviews with developers, lawyers or overseas owners. The Vidi 250 camera gives remote participants a view of the room, and the Devio SCR-10 hub connects the camera to the conferencing software on the PC. Plan the display size and wall position around the office layout before ordering, and request a quote that lists each item separately.

Could a small seminar room in Education City use this bundle for hybrid sessions?

A small seminar room at a university or training centre in Education City can use the bundle for sessions of up to six people, with colleagues or partners joining from abroad. Because the platform runs on the PC, the same room can host Teams, Zoom or Google Meet sessions as the department prefers. For larger lecture or teaching rooms, a bigger system would be more suitable. Request a quote with the room's seating arrangement.

Which camera does the bundle include, and why should I confirm it?

The manufacturer's kit contents and feature list name the Vidi 250 camera, and that is the model we quote for this bundle. Some of the manufacturer's descriptive text refers to a different camera model, so confirm the exact camera in your quotation before purchase. This affects mounting height, field of view and any compatibility checks with your IT team. The team will confirm the kit contents in the quotation.

Is the bundle suitable for a room with strong sun or summer heat?

The source data for this bundle does not list an operating temperature range, so no specific limit can be confirmed here. The bundle is intended for meeting rooms, so keep it in an air-conditioned indoor space. In Qatar, summer temperatures can exceed 45°C, so check sun exposure from windows and the room's cooling capacity with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation.
