MRB-S-SCR20-CX

What the MRB-S-SCR20-CX Is and Who It Suits

The Biamp MRB-S-SCR20-CX is a meeting room bundle sold as one package for huddle spaces and small rooms that host up to six people. Its manufacturer item number is 930-10001-00003. Teams that want a tested set of room equipment, rather than choosing each component separately, often prefer a bundle like this because procurement and setup stay simpler for IT and facilities staff.

This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer. That matters if you already own one and need a like-for-like unit for another room, and it matters if you are comparing options before buying. SmartRooms Qatar can prepare a quote for a current equivalent that matches a similar room size and meeting platform.

Certifications That Matter for Teams and Cisco Rooms

The bundle is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and carries a Cisco Verified designation. In practical terms, the Teams Rooms certification means the bundle has been validated within that software environment, while Cisco Verified status indicates validation with Cisco collaboration products. Before ordering, confirm which platform your organisation uses, along with its licences and room accounts, so the bundle matches the way your meetings are actually hosted.

Where This Bundle Fits in Qatar

• Government offices and ministries: a small team room in a West Bay office where staff from different departments meet and occasionally connect with colleagues abroad.
• Schools and universities: a staff or department meeting room in Education City, or at an Arabic-curriculum school in Al Rayyan, where a few staff join calls with partners.
• Real estate and professional services: a sales or project office in Lusail or The Pearl that needs a quick video call with a client or head office.

Summer temperatures in Qatar regularly rise above 45°C. The source data for this bundle does not state an operating temperature range, so confirm the intended environment and the room's cooling with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation, particularly if the room has a window or faces a open corridor.

What to Plan for Before Installation

Small meeting rooms are often refitted inside existing spaces, so measure the room, the table, the display position and the distance to the nearest power outlet and network point before ordering. Qatar mains supply is 240 V at 50 Hz and uses BS 1363 (Type G) sockets. SmartRooms Qatar will confirm the power and mounting requirements for this bundle as part of the quotation. A free site survey is useful where a room has a glass wall, a structural column or limited ceiling space.

Plan cable routes and network points before installation day, because video conferencing depends on a stable connection. Ask your IT team to confirm the port and connectivity in advance. Professional installation is available, and quotations are usually issued within one working day. For an organisation fitting out several rooms, one purchase order (LPO) or government tender can cover all units, with payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.

Because this model is discontinued, the quickest route to a working room is a quotation. Send SmartRooms Qatar your room size, meeting platform and number of rooms, then request a quote for the bundle or for a current equivalent.
