MRB-S-SCR20-TX

What the bundle contains

The Biamp MRB-S-SCR20-TX brings three components into one kit for a small meeting room: a Devio SCR-20 conferencing hub, a Parlé TTM-XEX tabletop microphone in black, and a Vidi 250 camera. Buying them together means the room starts from one defined set of parts rather than a list of separate items to match and test. The bundle is aimed at huddle spaces and small rooms for up to six participants, which suits many offices, school leadership rooms and branch meeting spaces across Qatar.

Platform certifications and what to confirm

The bundle is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and carries the Cisco Verified designation in the manufacturer's data. These two points show which software environments the kit was validated for. They do not replace a check of your own licences, tenant settings and network policies, so confirm your platform with the SmartRooms Qatar team before the quotation is finalised. The source data for this bundle does not list other platforms, so we do not assume support beyond what is stated.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Consultancy office in West Bay: a four-to-six-person meeting room where staff join calls with colleagues in other countries, with the camera framing the table and the microphone picking up speakers seated around it.
• Private school in Al Wakrah: a leadership or staff huddle room used for short planning meetings, and for small parent meetings that need a clear view of the speakers.
• Branch or service office in Lusail: a compact room for regional managers who need to join a head-office review without booking a larger boardroom.

Planning the installation

SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, and in a small room they matter. Camera placement should frame every seat without cutting off participants at the edges. The tabletop microphone needs a position clear of papers, laptops and air-conditioning outlets. Check where the hub sits relative to the display, the power outlet and the network point. Rooms with glass walls, reflective surfaces or strong ceiling lights should be noted in the request so the survey can plan around them.

Operating temperature is not part of the source data for this bundle. Because summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering, and make sure the room has reliable air conditioning, especially where a window faces the sun.

Discontinued model: requesting a quote

Biamp has discontinued the MRB-S-SCR20-TX. If your organisation already owns this bundle, SmartRooms Qatar can advise on a compatible replacement or a current equivalent for a huddle room. Buyers comparing it with newer options should share the room size, the platform in use and the number of regular participants. Request a quote and the team will return options with the quotation, usually within one working day. Purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat, are accepted, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
