MRB-S-SCR25-CX

What this bundle is built from

The Biamp MRB-S-SCR25-CX is a meeting room bundle, sold under item number 930-10002-00003, for small rooms and huddle spaces that host up to six participants. It brings three pieces together: a Devio SCR-25 conferencing hub, a Vidi 250 camera and a white TCM-XEX ceiling microphone. Buying them as one matched set means a small room can be specified from a single model rather than by choosing each part separately.

• Conferencing hub: one Devio SCR-25
• Camera: one Vidi 250
• Microphone: one white TCM-XEX ceiling microphone
• Capacity: meetings of up to six participants
• Warranty: 5-year warranty listed for the bundle

Why a ceiling microphone and camera suit small rooms

In a huddle room, the table is usually covered with laptops, notebooks and cups. A microphone mounted in the ceiling keeps that surface clear while still picking up speech from the seats around it, which is why the white TCM-XEX suits rooms where the furniture should stay uncluttered. The Vidi 250 camera is there to frame the people seated at the table, so colleagues on the far end of a call see whoever is speaking.

Because the hub, camera and microphone are sold together, the set is simpler to specify for a room with a fixed number of seats. Check that the bundle matches your room before ordering: it is designed for up to six participants, so a larger boardroom needs a different configuration.

Where this kit fits in Qatar

Several kinds of organisation in Qatar run small rooms where this bundle fits:

• Consultancies and law firms in West Bay or Msheireb that hold client calls with teams in Dubai, Riyadh or abroad from a four-to-six seat room.
• Private schools in Al Wakrah or Al Rayyan equipping staff meeting rooms and leadership offices.
• University research groups in Education City converting seminar rooms into hybrid spaces for small group reviews.

What to plan before ordering

The source data does not list ports, display requirements, software or an operating temperature range for this bundle, so confirm those points with SmartRooms Qatar before you commit. Plan for a free site survey, which covers ceiling access for the microphone, the camera position relative to the table, a wall or furniture location for the hub, and the display and computer the room will use. Qatar mains power is 240 V, 50 Hz with BS 1363 sockets, so check the power arrangement against those figures rather than assuming it.

Because this model is discontinued, planning matters more. Existing owners should note the item number and the contents so the quotation can match what is already installed, and buyers comparing it with newer kits should ask for a current equivalent with the same room capacity.
