A11

What the Nearity A11 is and where it stands today

The Nearity A11 is a USB conference speakerphone from the Nearity Speakerphones series, listed under Video Conferencing. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so it is now a legacy product. This page is written for organisations that already own one, for buyers comparing it with newer units, and for anyone who needs a replacement that fits the same meeting setup.

Because the A11 is no longer in the manufacturer's current range, the most useful next step for most buyers is a quotation for a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can review your room, the computers you connect and the calls you make before recommending a unit.

The facts we can confirm about this model

Our source record identifies the A11 as a USB conference speakerphone in the Speakerphones series, under the Video Conferencing category. A device of this type normally sits on a meeting table, picks up the voices of people in the room and sends them into the call, which is what its name indicates.

Our record does not include microphone pickup range, speaker output, number of microphones, operating temperature range or power requirements. We do not state or estimate these values. If you need any of them for a procurement file or a technical check, ask our team which information is available before you commit to a decision.

• Model: Nearity A11, legacy USB conference speakerphone
• Series: Speakerphones, within the Video Conferencing category
• Status: discontinued by the manufacturer

Where a desk speakerphone fits in Qatar

A small meeting room in a Doha ministry office, where a team holds a weekly call with colleagues abroad, is a typical setting for a desk speakerphone. One unit on the table lets several people speak without passing a handset around, provided the room is small enough for the device to pick up everyone clearly.

In Education City, a research group running remote seminars from a compact room may use a speakerphone of this kind with its laptop. In Al Wakrah, a private school fitting out an administration office for calls with parents and staff may need several units, and then one purchase order and one quotation covering every room makes the purchase simpler to manage.

What to plan before you replace it

Start by listing the rooms where the A11 is used, the computers or meeting software connected to it, and the number of people who normally attend. These three details decide whether a like-for-like replacement is enough or whether the room needs a different setup. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys that confirm table layout and cable routes before any order is placed.

For a boardroom or lecture hall in Lusail or West Bay, a desk speakerphone is often too limited. Tell us the room size and seating layout and we will quote a solution sized to it. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order, and we accept LPOs and government tenders, including those published on Monaqasat.

Request a quote for a current equivalent or compatible replacement for the Nearity A11, and the SmartRooms Qatar team will send the details you need to compare your options.
