The LG 49VL5D is a 49-inch LCD panel designed to be tiled with other identical panels into one larger display. Each unit runs at 1,920 x 1,080 (FHD) and is rated at 450 nits typical module brightness. It is a narrow-bezel model, which matters when screens sit side by side and thick frames would break up content that spans the array.

Bezels, panel and colour consistency

The bezel measures 2.3 mm on the left and top and 1.2 mm on the right and bottom, so two adjacent panels leave a combined gap of 3.5 mm. The panel uses IPS technology, and the manufacturer links it to a high half-luminance viewing angle, which helps in walls mounted above eye level and viewed from several positions. Playback, control and networking

The panel has a quad-core SoC running webOS and internal memory for pre-loaded content, so it can display material without an external input.
