The LG 55SVH7E-A is a 55-inch LCD panel built for video walls, with a 0.44 mm even bezel on every edge and a 0.88 mm gap between two adjacent panels. Narrow bezels matter because a tiled wall is judged by how little the frame interrupts the picture, so text, maps and moving video cross the joins with less visual break. The manufacturer states that the bezel width was verified by Nemko.

Panel, brightness and viewing angle in practice

Each panel offers a 1,920 x 1,080 Full HD resolution and a typical brightness of 700 nits. Its IPS panel technology is designed to keep colour consistent when viewers stand to the side or look up at a wall mounted above eye level. Colour temperature can be adjusted in 100K steps with the remote control, and grey-scale values can be tuned individually, so panels in the same wall can be matched closely. An image-gap reduction algorithm adjusts objects that sit on bezel boundaries during video playback, which helps moving content look continuous across the tiles.

Control, software and OPS options

The panel includes a built-in SoC and the webOS signage platform, so it can play content without an external media player. Content is managed with SuperSign CMS, while SuperSign Control and Control+ handle monitoring and control. An OPS slot in piggyback form is supported, and the optional OPS Kit KT-OPSA is listed for adding a media player. For multi-panel walls, the RJ45 LAN daisy chain and RS232C in and out let one control point send commands to every panel and update firmware together. Inputs include two HDMI, one DP, DVI-D, RGB, audio and USB 2.0; outputs are DP and audio.

Unconditioned or outdoor spaces are not suitable, because Qatar summer temperatures can exceed 45°C. Each head weighs 16.8 kg and uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA interface. Optional wall mounts are available for landscape (WM-L640V) and portrait (WM-P640V) installation.
