What this OPS computer module does

The SP-PI7C82IS is an OPS computer module: a self-contained PC that fits into the OPS slot of a compatible interactive panel instead of sitting on a desk beside it. Once installed, the panel can run its own applications, store files and join a network without an external computer. Each unit ships without an operating system, so your IT team can install Windows 11 Pro, which the manufacturer lists as supported, and apply your own security settings.

Processor, memory and storage

The module carries an Intel i7-12650H processor running at up to 4.70 GHz, with 10 cores, 16 threads and 24 MB of Level 3 cache. It has 8 GB of DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz and a 256 GB 2280 SSD listed as NVMe/SATA. Graphics come from integrated Intel UHD Graphics for 12th Gen processors, so no separate graphics card needs to be specified or cooled. Together these specifications suit interactive whiteboard software, video calls and several applications open at once.

Ports and connectivity

• Video: one HDMI 1.4 output (up to 4K/30 Hz) and one DisplayPort 1.2 output (up to 4K/60 Hz)
• USB: two USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 ports, plus one USB 3.1 Type-C port
• Network: one RJ-45 port at 10/100/1000 Mbps
• Wireless: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through a 2230 CNVI AX101 module, supplied with two antennas
• Audio: one combined line-out and microphone-in connector

An 80-pin JAE extension interface is also fitted. The HDMI 1.4 output tops out at 4K/30 Hz, so where a room needs 4K at 60 Hz, use the DisplayPort 1.2 output and confirm the panel accepts it before ordering.

Power, heat and site planning in Qatar

The module operates at 12–19 VDC, draws a typical 53 W and a maximum of 58.8 W, and uses 0.8 W on standby. Check these figures against the panel's OPS power supply during planning. Its operating range is –5 °C to +45 °C at 10%–90% humidity, non-condensing. Qatar summers can push ambient temperatures above 45 °C, so the panel should sit in an air-conditioned room with clear airflow around its casing.

The casing is black SGCC steel, measuring 119 mm × 180 mm × 30 mm and weighing 0.75 kg net. The box includes two antennas, two M3 screws, one desiccant pack and a user's manual. Listed certifications are CE and Energy Star.
